Thank you for your interest in the Langley Seniors Outreach Programs. These services are designed to assist seniors in maintaining their independence and access to the community. Our dedicated volunteers offer their time and efforts generously and freely. All services are closely monitored by our office.
The annual registration fee of $30 per person entitles you to call us for any of the Outreach Services listed below. Please fill out the membership form that is included (as completely as possible) to help us serve you appropriately.
Please call us if you have any questions about the services offered. Our office hours are Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please feel free to drop into the office, or if needed, one of our staff members would be happy to visit you in your home to explain the programs more fully.

Seniors Information & Provides information on Referral Service services and resources in the community that are available to seniors. Transportation Trained volunteers drive their own vehicles to pick up a pre‐ Assistance Program registered senior and take (see fee by zone guidelines) them to their appointment and home again. Sharing and Caring A social tea with interesting $4.00 drop in fee programs. Thursdays 1‐2:30 p.m. Coffee and Connecting A supportive group for seniors Tuesdays, 10‐11:30 a.m. who are starting over for any reason. Seniors Telephone Links a housebound senior with Buddies and Visitors a trained volunteer as a telephone companion or to visit in your home. Outreach Visits A staff member will visit your home to explain programs more fully. Housing Counselors Provide information on housing options and subsidies
Government Programs Assists with government forms Counselor such as CPP, OAS, & GIS
Langley Seniors Recreation and Resource Centre - Outreach SENIOR'S TRANSPORTATION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
A Volunteer driver will pick up a pre-registered senior at their home and drive them to their destination. If necessary they will stay with their clients. The suggested Fee-by-Zone includes the return trip home.

ZONE A within City of Langley...... $12.00 (boundaries are 64th Ave to the north, 224th Street to the east, 40th Ave to the south and 192nd to the west.
ZONE B within Municipality of Langley...... $18.00 (Fort Langley, Walnut Grove, Aldergrove, Fernridge, Willoughby)
ZONE C Surrey/ White Rock/ Abbotsford/Maple Ridge...... $35.00
ZONE D New West/ Coquitlam/ Ladner. Tsawwassen , Delta...... $45.00
ZONE E Burnaby/ Vancouver/ VGH/Richmond...... $50.00
ZONE F UBC Hosp./ St. Paul’s/ Shaughnessy/North Vancouver...... $55.00 North Vancouver
Call us with the DATE & TIME of your appointment. Be sure to call us a minimum of 24 hours in advance and before noon.
Please let us know when you request a ride if you will need to make extra stops. Our guideline is two stops per drive.
Parking costs and bridge tolls are the responsibility of the client. Take extra quarters and loonies along!
Clients may pay an extra $5 per ride as opposed to becoming members of Outreach.
Outreach membership is $30.00 per year.
