Travelling to Pemberton Incorporated in 1956, the Village of Pemberton is located in the green-belt Coast Mountains with a population of 2,600. Pemberton is 30 minutes north of Whistler. The valley has a rich farming and First Nations heritage and is located 8000’ below the rugged peak of Mount Currie. Travel directions outlined are mainly based on departure from Vancouver. Travel by Car Highway 99 runs from Vancouver to Pemberton and is very well maintained.
