About 15 of our youth in grades 6-9 and their parents recently had the opportunity to volunteer at the St. Andrews Food Cupboard. We brought all of the donations that had filled the lobbies of our churches. The bags filled 8 SUVs, with even bags sitting on the laps of some teens! Thank you! Thank you to the many people who donated reusable bags and shopping bags for the food cupboard to use to pass out the groceries. Clients get to come through the food pantry and select which food they want, as if they were in a store, so having sturdy bags to collect their food is so helpful.
Pledges have been made and donations have been received for the annual Catholic Ministries Appeal. Don’t forget to get your pledges in early.
