Il fatto che mio figlio abbia perso la vita per il bene del suo popolo, difendendo la sua online Patria, mi consola in una certa misura. Fino ad ora io stessa non sono riuscita a superare la perdita di mio figlio. Il dolore mi accompagna ogni secondo. Ogni notte, quando vado a dormire, io parlo con lui, gli rac- conto come ho passato la giornata, e gli dico “ Buongiorno” ogni mattina. È difficile sop- portare tutto questo, ma io resisto e continuo a vivere perché questo mio figlio desidere- rebbe. An enthusiastic advocate of new music, Ms. Amemiya has worked with today’s leading composers, including John Harbison, George Crumb, Bright Sheng, Oliver Knussen and George Benjamin.
