Under my direction, the office of African Student Programs at the University of California at Riverside (UCR), served as the principal coordinating center for projects and services designed to meet the needs of students of African descent. This included the production and publication of the Kokayi, a semi-annual journal; and coordination of annual programs such as New Student Orientation/Welcome Back event, African History Month, Southern Africa Week, African Women's Week, African Artists Week, Unity and Family Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Ceremony, Academic and Community Service Awards Ceremony, and others.
