Clothing Requirements

Our policy is to fully clothe your loved one. Even though the soul of your loved one has departed, we must treat the remains with great dignity and respect. Therefore, we ask that the following garments be provided at least two days before viewing:

Females

Underwear

Full slip (or half slip with camisole)

Bra

Panties

Knee highs or socks

Prosthetic socks (for amputees)

Outerwear

Dress or suit (long sleeved), blouse and skirt, or blouse and slacks

Shoes and jewelry (optional)

Males

Underwear

Shorts or boxers

Undershirt; sleeved or sleeveless

Socks

Prosthetic socks (for amputees)

Outerwear

Suit, shirt, tie or casual wear

Shoes and jewelry (optional)

We carry a full line of men suits in black, brown, navy and gray; women dresses available in pink, white, off- white, and blue.

Jewelry

Jewelry is supplied by the family unless otherwise arranged with Andrews Funeral Home.

Hair Care

Males: Our on staff barber will shave, shampoo, and style the hair as directed by the family. You are welcome to schedule a time with us for your personal barber to perform this service.

Females: Our on staff beautician will shampoo the hair and will style according to the family’s wishes. You are welcome to schedule a time with us for your personal beautician to perform this service.

Make-Up

Our on staff cosmetologist will apply makeup according to the family’s wishes. To insure an exact blend, feel free to provide makeup previously used by the deceased. You are also welcome to schedule a time with us for your personal cosmetologist to perform this service.
