Background Information:

The Early Childhood Department Chair Patricia Kemp at City Campus recommends the appointment of Ms. Ellington-Rowe to the Advisory Council. Ms. Ellington-Rowe is currently serving as Executive Director of the University at Childcare Center, Inc.

The Nursing Department Head Patricia Losito at North Campus recommends the appointment of Ms. Knox, R.N. BS to the Advisory Council. Ms. Knox is currently working at Erie County Medical Center in the Cardiothoracic ICU/Coronary Care Unit/Trauma ICU.

Reasons for Recommendation:

To enhance the composition of the Advisory Councils.

Fiscal Implications:

None

Consequences of Negative Action:

Lack of individual expertise and career experiences on the Advisory Councils. Furthermore, an inability to adhere to the Middle States Accreditation and SUNY regulations for academic programs.
