Annex REPORT FOR 2019 UNDER THE “HEALTH CARE” PRIORITY of the NATIONAL ROMA INTEGRATION STRATEGY OF THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA 2012 - 2020 Operational objective: A national monitoring progress report has been prepared for implementation of Measure 1.1.2. “Performing obstetric and gynaecological examinations with mobile offices in settlements with compact Roma population”. During the period 01.07—20.11.2019, a total of 2,261 prophylactic medical examinations were carried out with the four mobile gynaecological offices to uninsured persons of Roma origin and to persons with difficult access to medical facilities, as 951 women were diagnosed with diseases. The implementation of the activity for each Regional Health Inspectorate is in accordance with an order of the Minister of Health to carry out not less than 500 examinations with each mobile gynaecological office. Financial resources of BGN 12,500 were allocated for each mobile unit, totalling BGN 50,000 for the four units. Abstract The paper represents results of surveys carried out in the Western Stara Planina Mts within the last four years in order to improve the knowledge of the butterfly fauna, especially in the Bulgarian part of the mountain. A total of 150 species of Lepidoptera (Papilionoidea) was recorded with comments on their distribution in the Bulgarian part of the studied region. Nineteen species were recorded for the first time in the Bulgarian part of the mountain and one species (Apatura metis) – for the Serbian part. It has been found that the highest butterfly diversity is linked to the largest limestone area in the mountain near Komshtitsa Village where 101 species were observed. Interesting records for some rare or endangered species (Muschampia cribrellum, M. tessellum, Lycaena helle, Kirinia climene, Apatura metis, Nymphalis vaualbum, Melitaea didyma, M. arduinna, M. diamina and Brenthis ino) are discussed in detail. The high conservation value of the studied region proves by the species considered as threatened at the European level, of which seven species are included in the Annexes II and IV of the Habitats Directive, 12 species are listed in the Red Data Book of European butterflies and 26 in the European Red List of Butterflies.

TURISMUL Zona transfrontalieră, este caracterizată printr-un potenţial turistic foarte ridicat, insuficient exploatat şi insuficient promovat. Aici pot fi practicate aproape toate formele de turism datorită patrimoniului natural şi antropic variat, valoros şi atractiv. Potenţialul turistic identificat în fiecare din unităţile administrative analizate este prezentat în continuare. Mehedinţi Pe teritoriul judeţului Mehedinţi se regăsesc toate formele de relief, împărţite în procente egale, dispuse în trepte din nord - vest spre sud - est; de la cea mai înaltă treaptă munţii Mehedinţi şi Cernei, apoi podişul Mehedinţi, dealurile Motrului şi câmpia Bălăciţei spre cea mai coborâtă câmpia Blahniţei (terasele Dunării şi văile Drincei şi Blahniţei). Variaţia reliefului duce la apariţia peisajelor cu relief carstic şi structuri geologice deosebite ce atrag numeroşi turişti. De asemenea caracteristicele climei temperat continentale cu influenţe mediteraneene fac posibile practicarea turismului pe durata întregului an. Resursele turistice naturale de pe teritoriul judeţului sunt legate în special de o zonă turistică importantă pentru ţara noastră - Porţile de Fier. Variaţia reliefului duce la apariţia de peisaje inedite ce atrag numeroşi turişti - pe abrupturile calcaroase între Sviniţa şi Greben, traseele drumurilor DN 67D de la Baia de Aramă-Obârşia Cloşani- Valea Cernei şi DN57(E70) ce însoţeşte traseul Dunării, viaductele arterei peste afluenţii Dunării, fie Sistemele Hidroenergetice şi de navigaţie Porţile de Fier I şi Porţile de Fier II sau zone fosilifere Sviniţa, Bahna sau tufărişurile mediteraneene de la Izverna şi din Defileul Dunării, viaductele peste afluenţii Dunării, porturile din municipiul Drobeta -Turnu Severin şi oraşul Orşova. Turiştii pot valorifica fondul piscicol din lacurile naturale, de acumulare, al Dunării şi al râurilor de pe teritoriul judeţului şi fondul cinegetic din pădurile judeţului.

41. Carboniferous Granodiorite
41. Carboniferous granodiorite Location. 34 T 641581 E, 4809904 N. It is located 6.7 km south of Gorni Lom village. Category. Geosite of scientific value: outcrop of Carboniferous granodiorites. Geological setting. The outcrop is located in the Late Carboniferous St. Nikola Pluton, belonging to the Balkan granite-granodiorite complex. It is intruded between the rocks of the Chernivrah metamorphic complex and Berkovitsa low-grade metamorphic complex, parts of Berkovitsa tectonic unit. Description. The rocks of the St. Nikola Pluton crop out as prolonged in East-West direction body with width 3-3,5 km and length 16-17 km, continuing on Serbian territory. The pluton is composed of massive leucocratic to mesocratic coarse-grained rocks of granodiorite-granite composition, feldspar and quartz porphyry in places. The main rock-forming minerals are plagioclase, potassium feldspar, quartz and hornblende. Granite texture is plagioclase porphyry, and granodiorites are uneven-granular. In the rocks of the pluton is observed planar parallelism with equatorial orientation and inclination to the south from 40 to 85°. In places they show schistosity due to local tectonic events. In tectonically reworked areas granodiorites have undergone imposed metasomatic processes. Recent geochronological dating upon zircon (Carrigan et al., 2005) for St. Nikola Pluton indicate absolute age 311,9 ± 4,1 Ma, which refers to the Upper Carboniferous. Surrounding landscape. The area is surrounded by beautiful forests on the northern slopes of the highest part of the Western Balkan with peak Midzhur and outcrops of igneous and metamorphic rocks. Sensitivity and protection measures. Location of the geosite should be marked by dashboard with data about the Carboniferous magmatism and geology of the area in the center of Gorni Lom village.

A number of studies on specific challenges, institutions, and policies for agro-ecosystem services have also appeared (Antle; Gatzweiler et al.; Jolejole et al.; Shiferaw et al.; OECD, 2001; VanLoon et al.; WISP). It is recognized that maintaining and improving ecosystem services requires an effective social order (governance) and coordinated actions at various levels (individual, organizational, community, regional, national, transnational). It is also known that effective forms of governance are rarely universal and there is a big variation among different ecosystems, regions, countries. Zapadna Stara Planina I Predbalkan” As Subject of Functional Research
CHARACTERISTICS AND DISTRIBUTION OF XEROTHERMIC OAK ECOSYSTEMS IN SCI “ZAPADNA STARA PLANINA I PREDBALKAN” AS SUBJECT OF FUNCTIONAL RESEARCH Nadezhda Georgieva*, Mariyana Lyubenova Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” – Faculty of Biology, Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, 8 Dragan Tzankov Blvd. Aim: The present study was aimed to describe the distribution and ecological structure of xerothermic oak ecosystems in SCI “Zapadna Stara planina i Predbalkan”, which are dominated by Quercus cerris L. and Q. frainettoTen. Material and Methods: The information from forest management plans was analyzed. The minimum and maximum altitude of distribution, the main soil types and the average parameters for the age, DBH and height of forest stands were defined. A comparison was made between the data of forest management plans and data collected during field inventory. Results: The xerothermic oak ecosystems occupy the altitude zone of 200 to 400 m in SCI, mostly northern exposure with slope up to 10 degree. The oak forests are mainly developed on gray forest soils and on sandstone and conglomerate as rock foundation. The average forest inventory parameters are: 11 m height, 14 cm DBH and about 50 years age. Conclusions: The most appropriate forests for functional researches are the forests with representative ecological status - to have a typical habitat species composition, canopy, floor structure and representative average data for the tree layer. About the SCI “Zapadna Stara Planina i Predbalkan” these forests are with distribution around 300 m altitude, northern exposure and on gray forest soils and also with about 50 years average age of stands.
