WALKTHROUGH INTRODUCTION GAME Once you realize that you are stuck inside a submerged submarine, you immediately start searching the code of the emergency door.

On the chair, you find a page torn from an emergency manual. It shows exactly what has to be done to find the correct four keys for the Chrono Decoder. Written on the door is the sequence for putting the four keys into the Chrono Decoder: 1) Fish (= area), 2) tank (= ), 3) Depth (= stops) and 4) Door lock (wrench).

In which area are we? (VR) To find out in which area you are, identify which different species of fish are swimming in front of the window of the submarine in the VR environment. You can spot five different species: Flouviatalis, Picasolatus, Redleria, Xipolatus and Winchilus. For each of the five species you have to find out in which area it can not be found by reading te texts on the identification chart and looking at the map. Then eliminate these areas. The remaining area is your location. - Fish species ‘Flouviatalis’ is not found in coral-rich areas. In other words; it is not found in the vicinity of location A: ‘The Colorful ’. - Fish species ‘Picasolatus’ is not found in areas with strong currents. In other words; it is not found in the strong of location E: ‘The Eye’. - Fish species ‘Redleria’ is not found in areas with many fish-eating birds. In other words; it is not found near the many pelicans at location B: ‘Pelicano’. - Fish species ‘Xipolatus’ is never found in shallow waters. In other words; it is not found at location F: ‘The Shallows’. - Fish species ‘Winchilus’ cannot survive in hot water. In other words; it is not found near the undersea volcano at location C: ‘Lava Hotspot’. The only location that remains is D: ‘The Great Wide Open’. You could have also discovered this by looking for the only fish (Protogeilare) that you don’t see and that doesn’t appear in open waters.

Answer: Key D in slot 1

HINT 2: THE FORMS THE CODE OF THE OXYGEN TANK. REMEMBER TO LOOK UP IN THE VR ENVIRONMENT.

1 Diving equipment (VR) 5 Find the right diving equipment: Fit the pieces of the diving equipment, so the light grey markings on both connect. The torn wetsuit with the broken glass in the helmet is not usable. On the other wetsuit are the VR logo and three numbers: 5, 4 and 8.

4 Search in the VR environment for the matching 8 oxygen tank: The tank and the suit must bear the same numbers: 5, 4 and 8. You can find the oxygen tanks in the four cupboards on the upper left and upper right of the submarine. The oxygen tank with the numbers 5, 4 and 8 is colored blue.

Read the correct oxygen supply setting on the poster next to the door: The poster shows the setting for the oxygen tank color. The blue oxygen tank is to be set on F.

Answer: Key F in slot 2

HINT 1: SPOT THE 5 SPECIES OF FISH AND LOCATE THEIR HABITATS ON THE MAP. YOU ARE IN THE AREA THE ONSEEN FISH AVOIDS.

Decompression stops The decompression table shows the number of decompression stops you have to make to safely resurface. This number depends on the depth of your position. The water color table shows the color of the water at a particular time of the day.

Time of the day: In the story, the time is underlined, indicating that it is seventeen minutes past two o’clock. This tells you to look in the water color depth index column on the left between 2pm and 3pm.

Water color: The color of the water at 2:17pm can be found in two ways: 1) In the VR environment: On the dashboard, the white dot in the color index shows the color of the water at that point in time. This is the fourth box from the top. Next, look at the color index from 2pm to 3pm: you are at a depth of 80 meters. 2) In the paper submarine: Compare the colors of the index strip with the color of the water in the round window. The color matches the box that shows 80 meters.

Decompression table: Starting at a depth of 80 meters, you will have to make six decompression stops.
