Points of Interest in regards to dance shoes at CFPAA.
For Pointe Shoes, do not purchase Pointe Shoes before the season begins. Due to ther personalized nature of pointe shoes, CFPAA does not carry these in house. Ballet 201 A and higher classes will go over this with Ms. Erica or Ms. Kim once the season is underway.
Hip Hop: You are not required to purchase Combat Boots for our Hip Hop Classes.
Spray Painting Tap Shoes: You will never be asked to Spray Paint or damage brand new Tap shoes, ever. Minis Dance, Discover Dance, and Prep 101 courses train in both ballet and tap, but your show shoes will always be Black Tap Shoes (B60s).
The Balera Brand has great reviews for its cost. It is certainly a more economical affordable brand than Capezio. However, you are more than welcome to purchase a higher cost brand on your own, but we certainly do not find that necessary, especially if your dancer’s feet are still growing.
