Duck rescue and retrieval is always a fun part of the event for the children. This year a new element was added with the increasing popularity of kayaks at CPYC. Only one kayak flipped in the scurry to catch as many ducks as possible. ▲The duck fleet spread out with the leaders tak- ing off. 1st place went to Paula Klim, 2nd place to Dave Aloise, 3rd to Katie Child’s cat Beelus, and Antea Schlichting had the Lame Duck.
