The reception shall be improved and become more effective in the aspects of the employment, housing and health of the newly arrived. This applies both within the asylum period as well as after the grant of the residence permit.

1. The municipality of Södertälje will take measures in order to substantially reduce the number of refugees that choose to reside in Södertälje. The municipality will also take measures to raise the public opinion to increase the national sense of responsibility.

1.FEWER REFUGEES CHOOSE TO RESIDE IN SÖDERTÄLJE
The objective: The number of newly arrived refugees moving to Södertälje should be based on an equal distribution in the county, this would signify no more than 250 persons during 2008. PLAN OF ACTION
2.MORE PEOPLE MOVING INTO OTHER MUNICIPALITIES
Aim: • 10 % of all refugees of adult age, entitled to benefits, that arrive within one year should move on to another location in the country or in the county. PLAN OF ACTION
3. QUICK ACCES TO EMPLOYMENT AND SELF-SUPPORT
Aim: • 70 % of refugees that have attained working age should be self supportive within 1,5 years after being granted a residence permit.
•10% of the newly arrived should, within three months after having commenced the introduction, be in in full-time or part time employment or trial employment. PLAN OF ACTION 4. WORK AGAINST INHUMANE LIVING CONDITIONS
