Altstadt "Historic Old Town"

Altstadt is the historic center of the former municipality Rapperswil which is now Rapperswil-Jona. This old town is on the shores of the Lake Zurich and is a lovely place to explore for its many architectural gems and historical sites. These include Schloss Rapperswil, Kloster Rapperswil, Fischmarktplatz, Engelplatz, Rathaus, Pfarrkirche St. Johann, by Public Domain Stadtmuseum Rapperswil and Seedamm. Langstrasse "Red Light District Live!"

This is Zurich's red light district. It starts in District 5, but this part is less attractive due to heavy traffic. It's more attractive in District 4 on the other side of the railway tracks.
