GRAD BASH 2020 at Universal's Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios Florida® Minimum Code

Universal's Grad Bash is a once-a-year school event requiring enforcement of a to ensure proper dress/attire for students and chaperones. All outfits must remain intact for the entire Universal's Grad Bash event and any pre-parties. The school is responsible for enforcing the dress code prior to arrival to the event.

Universal Orlando Resort team members and Grad Bash Event Staff have the right to refuse admission to anyone (students and chaperones) whom they deem to be dressed inappropriately for the event and/or not in compliance with these guidelines and will continue to enforce this dress code throughout the event. Merchandise will be available for purchase at event entrances for those in non-compliance who still choose to seek admission to the event.

OK • , , capris or Bermuda no shorter than mid-thigh are ok for girls • Casual and tops with at least 3 inches wide are ok for girls • Casual pants (including khakis and ), secured at are ok for boys • with sleeves (golf/polo, dress shirts and t-shirts) are ok for boys • Comfortable (including tennis shoes, dress , and flip-flops) • Purses no larger than 8.5" x 5.5" (size of a half sheet of notebook paper) • Camera and cell phones • Fanny Packs • Drawstring backpacks (within the 14" x 18" size requirement) • College and Professional Team name and/or Logos (Not including Jerseys) •

UNACCEPTABLE ATTIRE*/NOT OK* • Backpacks of any size, type or style, briefcases, camera bags, tote bags and oversized purses larger than 8.5" x 5.5" (size of a half sheet of notebook paper) (does not apply to chaperones) • Accessories that may be used as weapons (chains, spiked collars or belts, wallets, sharp objects, jewelry, pendants or charms larger than 2 inches) • with excessive holes, tearing, or shredding • Clothing with language or graphics that are obscene, offensive or suggestive of sexual, vulgar, drug, alcohol, or tobacco-related messaging

• Gang paraphernalia, jewelry, tattoos, clothing or other insignias which display, suggest or provoke violence. • Extremely revealing clothing including: bathing tops, bottoms, or see-through clothing of any kind • Clothing that is too tight or exposes excessive portions of the skin, or revealing clothing that may be viewed as inappropriate at a school function (i.e. tops that bare the or sides even when arms are extended above the head, see-through clothing, etc.) • Jerseys of any type • Guys may not wear tank tops or • Girls may not wear tank tops with sleeves less than 3 inches in width, undershirts, tube tops, tube dresses, one-shoulder shirts or any off the shoulder dresses of any kind • Shorts, dresses or skirts with hemlines shorter than mid-thigh • Visible • Clothing or accessories with high school name, mascot or logos • High school jerseys or other attire displaying high school name/letters or mascot • Clothing affiliated with any school, sports team, group, club, etc. (ex: letterman , clothing with school logos, etc.) • Clothing or accessories with area codes • Spandex body • Weapons, knives, laser pointers and chemical irritants of any kind • Over-the-counter medications; tobacco or tobacco related products such as lighters, matches, pipes, etc.; and alcohol or any controlled substance • Any containers with fluids of any kind; this includes water, any drinks and perfumes • Aerosol cans/bottles of any type • Guys and girls may not wear Basketball Shorts of any kind • Matching or like attire among multiple students

Bag Checks: For safety and security reasons, Universal will search all bags and Universal reserves the right to require that certain size bags be kept in the transportation vehicles. Please note that guests may be subject to electronic security scans (i.e., metal detectors) at the Event.
