The one-night event encompasses both Universal Orlando® Resort theme parks and features live concerts and street entertainment, as well as the parks’ rides and attractions. CHAPERONE information As a chaperone, you play a key role in the success of the event for your school’s students. Your involvement and visibility during the events will help to deter inappropriate acts by those attending. Please review this entire document and help us make Universal’s Grad Bash ‘14 a success for your group! Chaperones are encouraged to go out and visit the different areas of the park, being visible to students during this special event. We know that adult visibility helps make this event more enjoyable for everyone attending. CHAPERONE WRISTBANDS In order to clearly identify chaperones, you will be asked to wear a checkered wristband throughout the night. Chaperone wristbands will allow Chaperones to experience special VIP extras including the following: • Universal ExpressSM Unlimited ride access* to participating rides and attractions • Access to chaperone-only lounges with complimentary snacks and drinks • Complimentary breakfast *Valid during Grad Bash only. Unlimited ride access limited to one person per wristband. Some attractions excluded. Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice. CHAPERONE LOUNGES We invite you to take a break at either of our chaperone-only lounges located at Mythos Restaurant® in Universal’s Islands of Adventure® and Pantages Theater in Universal Studios Florida®. • Universal’s Islands of Adventure® – Lounge is located at Mythos Restaurant. Chaperones can play casino games and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks. • Universal Studios Florida® – Lounge is located at Pantages Theater. Chaperones can watch movies or watch sports on TV and enjoy complimentary snacks and drinks. UniversalOrlando.com/GradBash • 1-800-YOUTH15 1 CHAPERONE INFORMATION • CHAPERONE INSTRUCTIONS CHAPERONE information CHAPERONE BREAKFAST There will be one location in each park for the chaperone breakfast. The chaperone wristband will allow ONE (1) breakfast per person. Breakfast will be served from 9:00pm until 12:00am. The locations for the Chaperone Breakfast are: • Universal’s Islands of Adventure® – Breakfast will be served at Thunder Falls Terrace® located in Jurassic Park®. • Universal Studios Florida® – Breakfast will be served at Lombard’s Seafood Grille located in San Francisco. FREE UNIVERSAL EXPRESSSM UNLIMITED Universal Express allows chaperones to skip the regular lines* at select rides and attractions at both parks. Please go to the Universal Express entrances at each participating ride or attraction and show the ride attendant your checkered wristband to gain exclusive access. The Chaperone Express event entry also entitles chaperones to a separate entrance into the event. Each arrival location will have a designated entry located to the far left of each entrance. Please show your checkered wristband to the attendant located at the chaperone entrance for access to the Chaperone Express event entry. *Valid during Grad Bash only. Unlimited ride access limited to one person per wristband. Some attractions excluded. Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice. CHAPERONE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE GRAD BASH: • Confirm that all students attending the event are attendees at your school and are of senior standing. • Ensure you have Grad Bash tickets for all students and chaperones. In the event that tickets are lost or additional tickets are needed, there will be sites at your entry location to purchase additional tickets. • Make sure students are adhering to the appropriate attire guidelines and are not carrying inappropriate items. Merchandise will be available for purchase at event entrances for those in non-compliance who still wish to enter the event (see Dress Code, page 8). • Have a plan for you and the other chaperones to contact each other if needed. We encourage you to bring cell phone chargers. Electric strips will be provided at both chaperone lounges. • Advise students they will be going through a security check upon entry. Anything deemed inappropriate will be confiscated and may not be returned. Any illegal substances or items will be dealt with by the appropriate authorities. UniversalOrlando.com/GradBash • 1-800-YOUTH15 2 TRANSPORTATION • DRIVING DIRECTIONS • BUS DRIVER INFORMATION CHAPERONE INSTRUCTIONS TRANSPORTATION • Universal Orlando® does not provide transportation. Every group must provide their own transportation to and from Grad Bash. • Only bus drivers or chaperones may drive each vehicle. • In the event you become separated during transit, we recommend you distribute event tickets and wristbands to each student or responsible chaperone before leaving your school. DRIVING DIRECTIONS Traveling east on I-4 (from Tampa): • Take I-4 exit 75A. More detailed arrival & parking directions will be mailed to the Head Chaperone prior to the event. Traveling west on I-4 (from downtown Orlando/Daytona): • Take I-4 exit 74B. More detailed arrival & parking directions will be mailed to the Head Chaperone prior to the event. BUS DRIVER INFORMATION Please provide this information to your bus drivers. • Bus drivers are responsible for keeping all students and chaperones on the bus/van until a Grad Bash Parking Attendant instructs you to unload. • Bus drivers do not get complimentary entry into Grad Bash ’14. Parking instructions, maps and signs will be sent to your school in March 2014. UniversalOrlando.com/GradBash • 1-800-YOUTH15 3 ARRIVAL NOTES ARRIVAL NOTES WRISTBANDS We ask that all students and chaperones put on their Grad Bash wristbands before exiting their buses. Please note wristbands will be sent to your school in March 2014. Students will be assigned solid color wristbands. If you do not receive enough wristbands, additional wristbands will be available at each of our arrival check-in points. If a checkered wristband is worn by a student Universal reserves the right to confiscate the wristband and notify the Head Chaperone. ARRIVAL Students and chaperones must arrive as a group to Grad Bash. Chaperones should stay with their group during the beginning of the event for entry and at the end of the event for exit. Late arrivals of students or chaperones must be pre-approved by your school’s Head Chaperone and by the Grad Bash Team. If you have a circumstance where you have a late arrival, please contact the Grad Bash Team at least three days before your visit date at 407-363-8223. Upon arrival at Universal’s Grad Bash ‘14, the Head Chaperone should immediately report to the Head Chaperone check-in table at the arrival location of your school. • We ask that you designate ONE (1) Head Chaperone to check in your school at the Head Chaperone table. • We ask for up to three (3) cell phone numbers as a means of contacting you during the night of the event. We will not use your cell phone number after the event date. CHAPERONE COMMAND CENTER The Chaperone Command Center will be located in Islands of Adventure at Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-pendous™ (indicated on Grad Bash Event Guide). This location is centrally located near the crossover between parks and will serve as a command center for any student issues for both Universal’s Islands of Adventure® and Universal Studios Florida®. UniversalOrlando.com/GradBash • 1-800-YOUTH15 4 ARRIVAL NOTES ARRIVAL NOTES PROHIBITED ITEMS When entering Grad Bash, both chaperones and students will go through a security check, which includes passing through a metal detector. Security will also be screening students and chaperones for the following prohibited items: • Alcohol • Illegal drugs • Cigarettes or tobacco items • Weapons • Any chains, spiked collars and spiked belts • Any accessories that may be used as weapons All unauthorized items will be confiscated by Universal Orlando® Security. Chaperones are allowed to bring cigarettes for themselves, but are only allowed to smoke in designated areas located near Chaperone Lounges. We ask that chaperones do

Often in the rush “just to get finished” with a task, we do not give the moment its proper due. Good portraits of any kind require the photographer and the subject to work together to achieve the desired look. With all the advancements in digital photography today along with the touch- up software available, the ability to create a good portrait is now greatly enhanced. Technology alone, however, can never replace the human subject and thus, it is important to be prepared for your senior portrait day to ensure good results. Come prepared with a good attitude and ENJOY the process. Do not let minor stresses and concerns spoil the day. A relaxed, happy demeanor comes through in a photo and embracing and enjoying the process will aid in helping you look your best. The photo stations will have a tablet so you can view the portraits as taken if desired. This will help yo u get yo ur best lo o k the first sessio n. Abstract This work explores norms of dress design by the use of post internet aesthetics in mens underwear. The exploration of underwear is based on methods formed to create a wider concept of how mens underwear could look like regarding shape, color, material and details. Explorations of stereotypical and significant elements of underwear such as graphics and logotypes has been reworked to create a graphical identity bound to a brand. This is made to contextualize the work aiming to present new options and variety in mens underwear rather than stating examples using symbols or stereotypic elements. In the making of the examples for this work the process goes front and back from digital to physical using different media to create compositions of color, graphic designs and outlines using transfer printer, digital print, and laser cutting machine.     Cincinnati, OH USA 2000 Proceedings DOGWOOD IN GREEN AND GOLD Tammy Abbey Central Washington University, Ellensburg, WA 98926 The purpose in creating this piece is to design an elegant garment through the combination of two very different techniques, metalsmithing and sewing. This design was inspired by extensive study in both metalworking and sewing and by blooming dogwood. The garment can be described as a dark green, fully lined dress in a polyester crepe satin. It is designed with princess lines and a gold charmeuse godet in the back. The dress is strapless and supported by the metal "lace." The "lace" is formed with brass blossoms and leaves that wrap the shoulders and overlap the front and the back of the dress. Brass blossoms also accent the godet. Construction began with an original pattern which was hand drafted. A muslin test garment was sewn, fitted and used to adjust the pattern. The main body of the dress was sewn and an invisible zipper was installed. A godet was sewn into the back. A polyester lining was sewn and then added to the dress. After the body of the dress was completed, the metal work began. Blossoms and leaves were cut from sheet brass. Then each was individually chased (hand shaped with the use of hammers and tools.) The pieces were given a copper patina (coloring) and brass brushed to a matte golden color. A dress form was used to assemble a base web of brass chain onto which the blossoms were sewn into place with thread and wire. Two blossoms and chain were added in the back to accent the godet and to contain it.

    Tolar Junior High and High School Dress Code Personal appearance is important. Modesty will be the dominant feature in all clothing. Behavior, attitude and community standards take precedence over individual clothing and hairstyle. The campus principal is the final authority concerning the propriety of clothes, hairstyle, and jewelry. Clothing • Clothes must be appropriately sized (not excessively tight); • No cleavage-revealing tops; • Exposure of midriffs (front or back) and low cut shirts are prohibited; • No holes in clothing that reveal skin in shirts, or pants above the knees (patches must cover all holes); • Shirts must not be backless or completely shoulder-less (partial shoulder is permitted); • Female students may wear ͞sheer tops͟ provided that the clothing underneath is in accordance with school dress code. Example: No exposed spaghetti straps, bra, midriffs, tube top; • All shorts must be no shorter than 4 inches above the top of the knee cap. No running shorts allowed. Examples: Nike wind shorts and similar loose fitting shorts; • Tights/athletic pants/yoga pants/jeggings must be accompanied by a shirt or dress that adequately covers the entire bottom; • No sagging or oversized clothing; • No pajamas; • Visible underwear, spaghetti strap tanktops, and muscle shirts will not be permitted; • Sleeveless shirts must have a collar or t-shirt type collar and be hemmed around the sleeves. Straps on sleeveless shirts must be at least 1 inch.; • Articles of clothing advertising (or mimicking advertising of) alcoholic beverages, tobacco products, depicting killing or violence or those with obscene or questionable printing or signs on them will not be permitted. Hair • Beards, goatees, and mustaches are not permitted.

Item NOT ALLOWED • No Racer backs, Spaghetti straps, Halter tops, Strapless, and/or tube tops. • No Low plunging neckline, see through, cropped shirts that expose the stomach and back Girls: when bending, stretching, etc. Shirts • No Shirts exposing too much skin, the shoulder blades, or undergarments. • No see through shirts without proper undershirts. Boys: • No Undershirts, muscle shirts, or shirts with sleeves cut off worn as main clothing item. Shirts • No Headbands or bandos. Girls & • No Shirts that contain graphics, words, or images that are inappropriate including: Boys Shirts drugs, gangs, alcohol, violence, sexual connotations, etc. • No Items shorter than 6 inches above back of middle of the knee or shortest part of the skirt/dress AND are less than 4 inches from the bottom of the buttocks. Skirts/ Dresses • No Dresses/Skirts that are excessively snug fitting. • No see through skirts/dresses without proper undergarments, of the proper length. • No Items shorter than 6 inches above back of middle of the knee or shortest part of the shorts AND are less than 4 inches from the bottom of the buttocks. Shorts • No Cut Off Shorts; all shorts must be stitched or cuffed. • No Biker or spandex shorts. • No Baggy, oversized, saggy pants. • No Yoga or leggings as primary clothing. If worn they must be paired with a shirt/dress that is no shorter than 6 inches above back of the middle of the knee or shortest part of the shirt/dress AND is at least 4 inches from bottom of the buttocks.
