Though the tasting will be unlike anything you experience from a bottle, it will be fun and memorable. Tasting wine from a barrel gives you some understanding, and appreciation, of the transformation it goes through before making it to the bottle! His father, Alain can often be found in the Cistercian cellars below Fabien’s family home sharing his passion for wines at private tastings of their superb range of wines. The vineyard work is in harmony with nature and the soil is ploughed to avoid chemical treatment and respect the terroir. The sale at auction of the wines of the Hospices de Beaune remains one of the most famous charity events in the world and all wine professionals await this event on the 3rd Sunday of November. The 153rd will take place this year. It is the central event of Burgundy’s most spectacular annual celebration, known as the Trois Glorieuses. For those who don’t wish to take part in Auction, free time in Beaune to enjoy the celebration. This program is subject to availability at the confirmation time. The “Sensory Pleasures with Bourgogne Wines” program is subject to a minimum of 10 participants and limited to 14 people. In case of an insufficient number of registrations, we would be in the obligation to cancel the program entirely and, as a matter of fact, we will proceed to the refunding of the amount paid. (Within a statutory delay of 21 days prior the beginning of the course) Payment conditions: In compliance with the provisions of the Special Conditions for Tailored Services, the full pre-payment is expected as per following conditions: Deposit: 30% of the total amount at the booking confirmation date, 436.50 euros per person Balance due: 1018.50 euros to be paid 30 days prior the arrival, at the latest on October 12th 2015 This deposit or full payment, accompanied by an original of the present contract and General and Special Terms and Conditions, initialled and signed, shall be sent to l’Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne. Solely acceptance by l’Ecole des vins de Bourgogne of all of these documents with full payment will validate the order.
