COUNTY COUNCIL (CHILDREY AND SPARSHOLT) (SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 20**

NOTICE is given that Oxfordshire County Council proposes to make the above order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the order, following road safety concerns, is to introduce a 40mph speed limit in place of the National speed limit, as follows.

1. B4001 New Road - from the A417 Road southwards then eastwards onto the unnamed B4001 road to a point 268 metres west of its junction with Church Row, 2. Pulpit Hill (road towards Sparsholt) from its junction with the B4001, westwards to a point 90 metres east of its junction with Eastmanton Lane, Sparsholt.

The Oxfordshire County Council (Restricted Roads) (Childrey Parish) Order 2000 and the Oxfordshire County Council (Sparsholt Parish) (30 miles per hour Speed Limit) Order 2009 will be hereby revoked.

Objections to the proposals, specifying the grounds on which they are made and any other representations, should be sent in writing to the address below, or via the web address above, no later than 13 August 2021. The County Council will consider objections and representations received in response to this notice. They may be disseminated widely for these purposes and made available to the public.
