Student quotes about work experience week 2013 “It’s been such a memorable week and I feel honoured to have been given the opportunity to experience a field of work that not many can at my age. Overall it’s been an amazing week with amazing people” – Jannat Chowdhury, The Park Community School “It’s been a brilliant week full of amazing opportunities – definitely worth it. It’s given me a great insight into the working world of the NHS, inviting me into a career in medicine, and luckily nothing I’ve seen has pushed me away!” – Jake Rice, Chulmleigh Community College “This week doing work experience I learnt lots about different job roles at the hospital. Overall I really enjoyed my week here and definitely want to do something in the hospital when I am older” – Emma Cooper, Pilton Community College “Working in the NHS for a week has really given me an insight into all the different jobs there are in the hospital. It has helped me a lot as I now have a better idea of what I would like to do when I am older” – Megan O’Dell, Holsworthy Community College “Having the chance to do work experience within the NHS has made my understanding of what they do much better. It has helped me realise that I really want to be a doctor. This will help motivate me to achieve the goals I need to become one.
