Transport : Please complete the transport request form to ensure transport from airport on arrival. The airport is Faa’a International Airport. Airport transfers will be provided from the airport to the Tournament hotel and the venue. During the tournament, a shuttle service will be provided from the Tournament Hotel to the venue.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

This entry form is to be sent in by the Competitor’s National Association. Tahitians players need to enter as individuals, providing they are a member of a local Association affiliated with Badminton Tahitian Association. Entries submitted by National Associations must be ranked in order of merit for all events. All players submitting entries for the tournament will be deemed to have read and accepted the conditions under which the tournament events are to be conducted. Competitors play at their own risk.

Rules and Regulations 1. The tournament will be conducted in accordance with the Laws of Badminton adopted by the Badminton World Federation 2. Matches will be, where possible, officiated by qualified umpires; however players may be requested to umpire or line judge at the direction of the Referee. 3. All players must wear regulation badminton attire as per the BWF Competition Regulation 19. Non-marking shoes must be worn 4. It is MANDATORY for the Player name to be on the back of the shirt. Lttering must conform to BWF GCR 22.2. Capital letters in Roman alphabet minimum 6cm and maximum 10cm in height. It is RECOMMENDED that double partner wear the same colour from semifinals on. 5. In accordance with BWF Statues for World Ranking Points, if the minimum number of entries is not met in an event, that event will not be included in the World Ranking 6. Yang Yang Tactic 300B BWF Approved Shuttlecocks will be used 7. Seedings and Draw a. The seedings to be based on BWF World Rankings b. Badminton Tahitian Association will make the draw in accordance with the Competition Rules of the BWF c. The draw will be done on 27th august 2010 and will use the world rankings from 19th august 2010 as the seedings The draw will be published on www.oceaniabadminton.org ; www.ftbadminton.pf and www.ffba.org d. BWF regulations will apply in relation to withdrawals from the tournament e. Notification of withdrawal(s) with reason must be given immediately to Badminton Tahitian Association by fax or email and must be supported by a medical certificate. The organisers may require documentary evidence to support withdrawals for any other reason. If withdrawal arises after players have arrived at the venue, notification of withdrawal accompanied by supporting documentation must be made IN PERSON to the Referee. f. In accordance with BWF General Competition Regulations 25.1.2 and Oceania Circuit Regulations 6.2., if a player/pair who is accepted into the tournament withdraws from the entire tournament or any event thereof, for any reason whatsoever, after 25th august 2010, the Player/pair may be required to make a payment of $US250 per player/pair to Badminton Oceania. 8. Anti-doping regulations a. The BWF Anti-Doping Regulations apply at this BWF sanctioned event. Players competing in this tournament are subject to in competition drug testing under BWF Anti-Doping Regulations. b. Players are reminded that it is their obligation to submit completed Therapeutic Use Exemption (TUE) application forms to the BWF through their National Association to get approval to use prescribed medications containing prohibited substance. In the first instance, contact your Member Association. Players are required to apply for TUE approval at least 21 days before the start of this international event. c. The BWF Anti-Doping Regulations and TUE Forms can be found at: www.internationalbadminton.org/page.aspx?id=11179 9. General Information a. Practice courts will be available 30th august at the venue, free of charge b. Each player will be given two tournament shuttles free of charge if requested for training c. Entry fees are non-refundable d. Prize money will be paid in local money Pacific Francs (XPF) or Euros (! ) at the conclusion of the tournament.
