North Outreach

January 18-24, 2016

Dear Friends, Prayer Partners & Supporters, We are just back from a 10-day journey through the states of Karnataka & in southern , during which time we had five conferences for Pastors & Leaders in , , , & Margao. Here are some excerpts from our journey:

BANGALORE SEMINAR - Jan 18th After the Centenary Celebrationor f Derek that was held in More than 250 Pastors attended the August 2015, we had a request to do a conference for the Bangalore conference, including a regional language speaking pastors in Bangalore, as the lady minister from Alaska. Centenary conference had been completely in English. So the Mt. Zion Church and it's head Bishop, Francis Jackson, took it upon themselves to organize this meeting at our request. The books are received More than 250 Pastors, many of them senior leaders, attended with great the conference. Many of them admitted after the teaching that thankfulness. they had learned a lot that they did not know about curses and blessings. In the words of Bishop Jackson, "I have been in ministry for 50 years and so I know the good from the bad—and I say this teaching is good! We really need this teaching." Another pastor testified that this was a timely teaching and he had received guidance on an area that he had not known what to do about.

BELLARY SEMINAR - Jan 20th The Christian population of Karnataka is 4% overall. Of which a majority of them reside within the southern states of Karnataka. However the North Karnataka area that we visited has barely 1 to 1.5% Christians in each district. So while Christian ministries Great joy amongst the Pastors of Bellary target these areas for evangelization, there is a huge gap when it that DPM would actually step into their comes to the ministry of teaching & training of the leaders. area and reach out to them. Amongst the pastors was a young man in saffron clothes. A Hindu by birth, from the Northern Indian state of Jharkhand. He left his parents, who became Catholics, and came down to Karnataka seeking the truth....yet unable to come to terms with it! We hope and pray the teaching has helped him see "the Light" he is seeking. A real lack of teaching amongst the pastors, it took me almost two hours to break through their mindsets and help them see the fullness of life guaranteed through the “Divine Exchange.” Amongst the Bellary Pastors, a seeker in saffron clothes. HUBLI SEMINAR - Jan 21st Hubli is a place where there are many pastors I know from my days back in Bangalore as an 8-year old. So I was very happy when my translator was announced and it was someone who had already been a pastor when I was eight years old! However he gladly translated for me and in the mid-morning tea break, one of the senior pastors said to me, "Praise God that gone are the days when we had to search so hard to receive a revelation regarding the teachings of the Bible—the revealed Word of God as you have put forth, has definitely touched many pastors, The teaching letters were received with including the senior ones like me here today." much interest and enthusiasm... It was a truly a joyful time to see the teaching bring a transformation in the minds of the pastors and to hear them share the specific instances of how it spoke to them and helped them see a new direction. Out of this one seminar, new doors have now opened into many more districts of North Karnataka....Praise the Lord!

BELGAUM SEMINAR - Jan 22nd Moving onto Belgaum, a district that has just 80 churches in all, we had a small group of 50 pastors and wives/leaders. It was More than 200 Pastors & leaders at Hubli... we ran out of books. It was an unexpected evident they were not used to attending teaching sessions like turnout. the one we were doing for them, and they arrived slowly, more out of curiosity to see what would happen. We began to teach and slowly their eyes began to open wide. They devoured every word with such a thirst (in spite of the difficult translator I had) that I was reminded of Paul's statement regarding the Berean believers. We were preparing to rush away at the end as we had to drive through a wildlife sanctuary and a mountain range to get to Goa - a good 5 hour drive that we wanted to complete before sunset, not knowing the road that lay ahead. Just then, the organizer (a pastor himself) came rushing to us and testified he had received deliverance from a spirit of the fear of death. He had been threatened by anti-Christian elements and had lived in constant fear of his life—even seeking police protection from the government that had never been granted him. “But” he said, “the fear is gone. I now know what I have in Jesus Christ and I have taken hold of it, never to fear the enemy anymore!”

GOA SEMINAR - Jan 23rd A section of the pastors gathered in Belgaum After a drive through challenging roads, we reached Margao in city...On my right, the elderly man in the the state of Goa, which is a separate state and shares borders front row, a preacher from Alaska again. with Karnataka. It completely flourishes on tourism and often reminds me of Ephesus in the Bible. You could say the Mystery Babylon flourishes here! At this place we had more than 200 people once again in attendance. Although here it was expected, Goa being a predominantly Catholic state. Here we had been asked to do the Spiritual Warfare teaching. But, being very strongly led by the Holy Spirit (and Danny of course who insisted), I first did the teaching on The Divine A large crowd in Goa - a largely Christian state but with a lot of Anti-Semitism still Exchange. It was almost as though walls came instantly riding deep in the hearts of many.... crumbling down...several people were healed, set free and delivered—again the predominant deliverance being from the spirit of fear. The next day being Sunday, we were in a worship service in one of the churches and all the testimonies were from the leaders of how they had been set free, including one from the organizing pastor of how God met the needs of the conference. A section of the pastors gathered in Belgaum Then leading people through the teaching on Spiritual Warfare, city...On my right, the elderly man in the we lead them to bind, loose, declare and proclaim over their front row, a preacher from Alaska again. state. It was a mighty time and we believe the principalities and powers of darkness were shaken that day. Thank you once again for praying and standing with us as we went forth. The seed has been sown and we look forward to much fruit to come in the days ahead. Truly the harvest is ripe and plentiful!!

Abundant Blessings upon you & your families as you stand with us to “Reach the Unreached & Teach the Untaught!! & A lady evangelist, testifying of her Elsie Daniel deliverance, from the spirit of the fear of Directors, DPM India death.
