VIRTUAL INAUGURATION OF IEEE STUDENT BRANCH

IEEE Bangalore section hosted a Virtual Inauguration of SDM IEEE Student Branch. Chief guest to the event. Mr. Puneet Kumar Mishra, Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section & Secretary, IEEE India Council, Scientist, ISRO- ISAC, Bengaluru highlighted the importance of having IEEE student branch in campus. Sri. Jeevandhar Kumar, Secretary, SDME Society, Dharwad, emphasized that the faculty should enhance their skill sets in the recent trends and technology using IEEE Student branch, and also gave his presidential remarks.

Dr. Satish Bhairannawar , IEEE Student Branch Counselor, SDMCET, Dharwad, briefed about the benefits of having a student branch in SDMCET. Mr. Raghavendra Prasad S. G., SAC Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section, presented about IEEE Continuing Professional Education. Dr. D. N. Sujatha SAC Co-Chair, IEEE Bangalore Section, presented about IEEE Student Branch Benefits & Opportunities. Dr. Parameshachari B. D, Prof. & Head, TCE Dept, GSSSIETW, Mysuru Secretary, IEEE Circuits and Systems (CAS) Society Bangalore Chapter, presented about IEEE VTools of Events Reporting. Dr. Suresh Jangamshetti,Chair IEEE, IEEE NKSS, Professor, Department of EEE, BCE, Bagalkot presented about Insight about the North Karnataka Sub Section.About 500 Students and faculty members from different engineering colleges across Karnataka attended the event. Dr. Satish Bhairannawar, IEEE Student Branch Counselor and Dr. Rajashekarappa, Deputy IEEE Student Branch Counselor, of SDMCET coordinated the event.
