Este bine știut că în viaţa oamenilor există popasuri care le modelează destinul şi unele locuri par anume înzestrate cu puterea şi cu vraja de a pregăti asemenea împliniri. -

ABSTRACT Reconstructing a Nomadic Network: Itineraries of Jewish Actors during the First Lithuanian Independence !is article discusses the phenomenon of openness and its nomadic nature in the activities of Jewish actors performing in Kaunas during the "rst Lithuanian independence. Jewish theatre between the two world wars had an active and intense life in Kaunas. Two to four independent theatres existed at one time and international stars were often touring in Lithuania. Nevertheless, Lithuanian Jewish theatre life was never regarded by Lithuanian or European theatre society as signi"cant since Jewish theatre never had su#cient ambition and resources to become such. On the one hand, Jewish theatre organized itself in a nomadic way, that is, Jewish actors and directors were constantly on the road, touring from one country to another. On the other hand, there was a tense competition between the local Jewish theatres both for subsidies and for audiences. !is competition did not allow the Jewish community to create a theatre that could represent Jewish culture convincingly. Being a theatre of an ethnic minority, Jewish theatre did not enjoy the same attention from the state that was given to the Lithuanian National !eatre. !e nomadic nature of the Jewish theatre is shown through the perspective of the concept of nomadic as developed by Deleuze and Guattari. Învăţământ, Cercetare, Creaţie Vol. 7 No. 1 - 2021 171 Art Exhibitions between 1920s and 1930s, Reflected in the Avant- garde Magazine UNU Cristina GELAN1 Abstract: In the first decades of the twentieth century, when the trend of emancipation of Romanian culture - literature, but also art, under the influence of traditionalist direction and synchronization with European ideas became increasingly evident, the avant-garde movement proposed a series of aesthetic programs, aiming to impose a new vision, both in literature and in art. In this sense, the magazines founded during this period had a major role, even if many of them appeared for relatively short periods of time. Among them, there is the magazine UNU, a publication that appeared in Dorohoi, between April and December 1928, and later, between January 1929 and December 1932, in Bucharest. The magazine had declared itself surrealist and promoted the experiences of avant-garde events. Key-words: Romanian art; avant-garde; new art; UNU; surrealism 1. VI International Forum for Doctoral Candidates in East European Art History, Berlin, 3rd May 2019, organized by the Chair of East European Art History, Humboldt University Berlin Balint Juhasz Doctoral School of History, Pázmány Péter Catholic University The Italian trend of the Interwar Hungarian Neoclassicism Art in Transylvania Subject and main question of the PHD Project The Trianon Treaty of 4 June 1920 led to the break-up of certain regions from the Austro-Hungarian Empire and the birth of new nations. Before World War I, Hungarian artists from Transylvania were studying in Munich and Paris. Tightening the boundaries and breaking away from the motherland led to the creation of a new part of the country. In Transylvania, at the beginning of the 1920s, the only colony of artists at European level existed in Nagybánya (Baia Mare), where not only Hungarians but also Romanian and German students could learn. On the other hand, the artschool of Kolozsvár (Cluj) founded in 1925 and then relocated to Timisoara was an alternative solution. Aurel Ciupe, a Romanian artist who teached there, had a greater insight into European developments. Paris remained the most important station for Romanian artists in Bucharest and Transylvania. Nevertheless, some German artists like Max Hermann Maxy and Fritz Kimm preferred Berlin for retraining. By contrast, in the 1920s and 1930s, Italy underwent through a major transformation. Already in 1917 and 1918, many members of the Italian artistic generation, who survived the horrors of the war, forgot the lively optimism and radicalism of futurism. Leading figures as Giorgio de Chirico, Mario Sironi, and Felice Casorati have chosen the spirituality of Valori Plastici and Novecento. -

ROMANIAN SPIRITUALITY IN VATICAN RADIO BROADCASTS (1969-1970)21 Carmen Ionela BANTA, PhD Lecturer, Faculty of Letters University of Craiova Abstract: This study brings into focus some thematic programs where Romanian spirituality is present in the Romanian language program of Vatican Radio during the years 1969-1970. Much of the lectures are supported by Monsignor Octavian Bârlea, priest Flavius Popan or teacher Mircea Popescu. The themes are current, meditative, and full of spiritual meanings. Key words: Vatican Radio, spirituality, Romanian. Vatican Radio was founded to be in the service of the Pope, the Church and humanity. Therefore, it has a function of religious communication intended for religious Catholic Church, but his service always covered much wider horizon of issues, with particular attention to the issue of peace, religious freedom, human rights, dialogue between religions and the Christian confessions. Being a bridge of communication with the world, Vatican Radio is a "forum for meeting and exchange of views in which people have to find their own place so they can speak." The primary purpose of Vatican Radio is to promote the biblical message in social plan in the whole world, to highlight and contextualize shades reported to cases, specific events of communities, countries, regions of the Christian world, constantly emphasizing the authority of the Holy See through the legitimate voice of the Pope. Romanian spirituality emerges through the programs which were broadcasted on Vatican Radio ever since March, 1947, when it is established the department in Romanian. It was among the top ten linguistic programs which transmitted religious programs, but also programs which promoted Romanian socio cultural subjects. -
