ENTRIES Please send all entries to Terry Colbert. You may either email (preferred method) or snail mail entries. Email entries will need to bring a signed entry form on the day of the meet. Please include each entries breed, sex, NOTRA#, call name, registered name, and owner’s name(s), address, phone# and email when entering by email. Checks should be made out to BCOSW.

METHOD OF RELEASE All Breeds will be boxed, EXCEPT that (1) if breeds are too large to fit comfortably in the boxes they will be hand slipped. This will be determined by the race committee. LURE TYPE – Continuous Loop DISTANCE – 300 yard modified uval PROGRAMS – 3 programs for all OBs

Silken Windhounds are now an eligible NOTRA breed. UKC papers are required for registration with NOTRA.

ELIGIBLE BREEDS Only purebred Afghan Hounds, Basenjis, Borzoi, Cirneco dell’Etna, Greyhounds, Ibizan Hounds, Irish Wolfhounds, Italian Greyhounds, Magyar Agar, Pharaoh Hounds, Portuguese Podengo, Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Salukis, Scottish Deerhounds, Silken Windhounds, and Sloughis may enter.

FIRST TIME ENTRIES First time entered hounds can be registered on the day of the meet by submitting a copy of the hound’s registration papers with a check for $2.00. AKC, NGA, acceptable foreign registry, or ILP for all breeds except Silken Windhounds. Silken Windhounds will be allowed to enter using UKC registration papers ONLY. Or registration can also be accomplished by sending that same information directly to NOTRA a minimum of 3 weeks prior to the meet. Registration is for the life of the hound. A certification run is required for first time entries. See rule 1.11 in the NOTRA rule book. Official NOTRA rules can be found at www.notra.org.

WE NEED YOUR HELP Please be prepared to assist or volunteer for line judging, foul judging and/or helping others with handling their dogs if asked. PLEASE RESPECT THE PROPERTY. CLEAN UP AFTER YOUR DOGS AND CLEAN UP ALL LITTER/GARBAGE.

Lunch will be available on site for $5.00 on Saturday only.

There is no camping allowed on the trial site due to city ordinance.

The Greater Racine Kennel Club grounds are not fenced but are set well off the road and have natural boundaries of trees and tall grass. Well water is available. Bring your own shade.

DIRECTIONS From 1-94: Exit I-94 at Hwy G and go East on G. It will wind and become six mile road. The Kennel Club is on the north side of the road. OR Exit 7 Mile Road east to Hwy. 38 and turn south (right). Follow Hwy. 38 and signs for Hwy. G through the town of Husher to where Hwy. 38 turns south (right) and Hwy G (6 Mile road) continues forward. Follow Hwy. G for 1 mile. G.R.K.C. building is on the left (north) side of the road and there is a G.R.K.C. sign at the entrance.

From Hwy. 31: To Hwy G (6 Mile Rd) 1 mile west. G.R.K.C. building is on the right (north) side of the road and there is a G.R.K.C. sign at the entrance.

All hounds entered must be individually registered with the American Kennel Club (AKC) (eligible for entry into the Stud Book register), Canadian Kennel Club, or with the National Greyhound Association (NGA), or with any foreign registry recognized by the AKC . For Rare Breeds not recognized by the AKC, or by any foreign registry recognized by the AKC, hounds must be registered with the Federation Cynologique Internationale (FCI) through its affiliated registries world wide (for dogs born in the USA, the Federacion Canofila de Puerto Rico), and/or the AKC Foundation Stock Service. Hounds registered with the AKC under Indefinite Listing Privilege (ILP) or the CKC equivalent (Listing) may also be entered for all breeds except Whippets.
