    Consejería de CULTURA, COMUNICACIÓN SOCIAL Y TURISMO Decreto 129/2006, de 21 de diciembre, por el que se determinan los topónimos oficiales del Concejo de Colunga La Ley del Principado de Asturias 1/98, de 23 de marzo, de uso y promoción del bable/asturiano, respecto a la toponimia, establece que los topónimos de Asturias tendrán la denominación oficial en su forma tradicional, atribuyendo al Consejo de Gobierno del Principado de Asturias la competencia para determinar los topónimos de la Comunidad Autónoma sin perjuicio de las competencias municipales y estatales y conforme a los procedimientos que reglamentariamente se determinen en desarrollo de la Ley, previo dictamen de la Junta Asesora de Toponimia del Principado de Asturias. De conformidad con lo previsto en el artículo 2 del Decreto 98/2002, de 18 de julio, por el que se establece el procedimiento de recuperación y fijación de la toponimia asturiana, el desarrollado para la determinación de los topónimos oficiales del concejo de Colunga, se inicia de oficio por resolución de la Consejera de Cultura, Comunicación Social y Turismo de fecha 3 de mayo de 2005, previa petición de la Mancomunidad Comarca de la Sidra. Dentro del plazo preceptivo de dos meses, y según lo previsto en el artículo 3 del citado Decreto, la Junta Asesora de Toponimia emitió dictamen sobre los topónimos de Colunga (27 de junio de 2005), que fue remitido al Ayuntamiento concernido. Revista Anual de Historia del Arte. 2010 Evolución histórica del puerto de Lastres: del esplendor comercial y pesquero de los siglos XVI y XVII a la actual reconversión en puerto deportivo Rebeca Menéndez Marino* Universidad de Oviedo RESUMEN Desde mediados del siglo XVI el puerto de Lastres empezó a destacarse como uno de los principales de la región, debido al auge de la pesca, la caza de la ballena y el comercio marítimo. Pero la prosperidad tornó en declive a principios del XVIII, tras la destrucción del fondeadero con el temporal de 1734. A partir de enton- ces, y tras varios intentos de reconstrucción fallidos, los tráficos comerciales desaparecieron y con ellos el anti- guo esplendor del puerto, que desde finales del siglo XIX se dedicó casi en exclusiva a la pesca y la conserva. Pero actualmente, la regresión del sector pesquero ha forzado a muchos puertos asturianos, entre ellos al de Lastres, a buscar alternativas dentro del sector terciario, reconvirtiéndose parcialmente en puertos deportivos. ABSTRACT Around the middle of the 16th century Lastres began to standout as one of the main ports in the region, due to the development of fishing, whaling and maritime trade. But the prosperity ended at the beginning of the 18th, when the great storm of 1734 destroyed the old harbour. From this time, although there were seve- ral unsuccessful attempts at reconstructing the port, the maritime trade disappeared and so did the good times.
