50 Miles in 4/5 Hours ‘ Widecombe Fair’BSunday 25 th March 2012 Starts at 09.00 from Arch, MR 202/882677 Abbreviations;- TL/TR = Turn Left/Turn Right. SO = Straight On. SP = Sign Post TJ = T Junction. Tlts = Traffic Lights. DC = Dual Carriageway. X = Cross Roads RB = Roundabout. FL/FR = Fork Left/Fork Right

1. Out to the Reservoirs 2. On through Forest and Moors TL from start and go down Main Street Continue pass Reservoirs to TJ RB 1 st exit X TR nd TL (SP M’hampstead) TL (SP Decoy Ind. Estate). RB 2 exit Continue on pass Blackingstone Rock Tlts TL Tlts SO and go to RH side of the road marked TOWN to TJ TL (SP M’hampstead) Continue pass Rail Station and TR (SP TJ at Main Road, TL and then TR Other Routes.) (SP MARDON DOWN) RB 2 nd exit (SP Ashburton) TJ TR (SP Clifford Bridge) RB 1 st exit (SP Ashburton) TL (SP ) nd RB 2 exit (SP ) Continue along these lanes to TR at bottom of hill (SP ) the A382 at Easton Cross. Tlts TL (SP )

Continue pass the Clayworks, TL (SP Heathfield) Cross over river and DC to X SO (SP ) and immediately TL at TJ. Continue for 2.1 miles to Five Lanes X TL no SP. TJ TR (SP RESERVOIRS) TJ TL (SP M’hampstea ) TR at Bullaton cross .

3. On to the Widecombe Fair 4. Down the hills and over the river X TL (SP M’hampstead) In Widecombe TJ TR (SP Buckland) TR at Whitebury Cross no SP Continue along this road for 3.3 miles TL (SP Drewston) Going through to TJ TJ at the B3212 (SP ) TR TL (SP ) Continue past Bovey Castle and Continue through village, desend and cross TL no SP at bottom of hill the river Dart twice and continue to PEAR TJ TL (SP ) TREE CROSS (Garage on right) At Heatree Cross TR (SP Heathercombe) TL (SP ASHBURTON) and continue and continue to WIDECOMBE IN THE MOOR through town

5. The Home Run To get back to Kingskerswell TL (SP Linhay Hill Quarry) and join A38 Cross Main Road and next two X roads (Use Cyclepath) Go under Railway Bridge and climb hill Leave Cyclepath and continue on A383 On decent at left hand bend TR and (SP ) for 4 miles Immediately TL TR no SP but Garage on left and Housing TJ TR and TL over Railway Bridge Development on right. and up to RB 2nd exit. Continue on this lane to DENBURY In village centre by War Memorial TL. Keep around to the left with high Wall . TR no SP Continue for 1.4 miles to the finish at the TWO MILE OAK Pub on the left just before Main Road.
