Prayer to Saint Michael the Archangel St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly hosts, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan, and all the evil spirits, who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

I will be going to Rome to study for a Doctorate in Canon Law. I will be living at the residence for American priests there – the Casa Santa Maria (I’ve included a few pictures). The “Casa” as it is called, was given to the American Bishops for a Seminary just before the Civil War, in 1859. It is part of the Pontifical North American College in Rome and serves English speaking priests [including Australians, Canadians, etc.] who are sent from their SATURDAY June 22, 2019 Dioceses for graduate level studies in Rome. Presently there are 4 PM Eugene Brennan 72 priests from 42 American dioceses and from several other (Sheehan Family) English speaking countries. SUNDAY June 23, 2019 The Casa is a quick walk to both the Gregorian and Angelicum Universities – which I will be attending. It is in the heart of the 9 AM Luigi Cardillo Centro Storico, the “Historic Center” of Rome, right near the (Madeleine & Steve Terenzio) Trevi Fountain, in a 16th century Convento – with an inner clois- 11 AM Joan Somma ter and two gardens.
