CITY OF WATSONVILLE REMOTE/TELECONFERENCE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE PLANNING COMMISSION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Remote/Teleconference public hearing will be held by the Planning Commission of the City of Watsonville, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. The public may participate through https://global.gotomeeting.com/join/491183797 or by calling +1 (872) 240-3212 and enter Access Code: 491-183-797. The Planning Commission will be considering:

AN APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL USE PERMIT WITH DESIGN REVIEW AND ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW (PP2019-18) TO ALLOW THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A PROPANE STORAGE AND TRANSFER FACILITY (AKA BULK PROPANE PLANT) ON A 0.7± ACRE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 950 WEST BEACH STREET, WATSONVILLE, CALIFORNIA (APNS 018-331-28; FORMERLY APNS 018-331-05 & -06), FILED BY DAVID DAUPHIN WITH C2G, APPLICANT, ON BEHALF OF RICHARD WITH MOUNTAIN PROPANE SERVICE, PROPERTY OWNER

The project address is 950 West Beach Street (APN 018-331-28; formerly APNs 018-331-05 and -06) which is zoned IG (General Industrial) with a General Plan land use designation of I (Industrial) and is within the City limits of the City of Watsonville.

The project qualifies for a “common sense” exemption from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the project would have a significant effect on the environment. CEQA Guidelines § 15061(b)(3)

The hearing is established by virtue of Section 14-10.1000 et seq. of Title 14 of the Watsonville Municipal Code.

Any person may observe, make inquiries, and present testimony either for or against the application at said public hearing. Any person may request to be notified about the action on the application. Any person wishing to appeal the decision made at this meeting, must file a written appeal with the City Clerk, stating the nature of the application and grounds for appeal, no later than fourteen (14) days from the date of the decision.
