Carousel’s Jessie Award-winning team is set to transform your favorite movie moments into a theatrical spectacle sure to please the whole family. Carousel Theatre’s Artistic & Managing Director CAROLE HIGGINS directs, with Musical Director STEVEN GREENFIELD, Choreographer MELISSA YOUNG. Design Team HEIDI WILKINSON (Set Design), BARBARA CLAYDEN (Costume Design), and JEFF HARRISON (Lighting Design) will transport you over the rainbow. Carousel Theatre is excited to welcome rising star ROBYN WALLIS (Hairspray) as Dorothy, DARREN BURKETT (Hairspray, Seussical) as the Scarecrow, MIKE STACK (Henry VI, Richard III) as the Tinman, and JOSUE LABOUCANE (Henry VI, Seussical, Bird Brain) as the Cowardly Lion. MEGHAN ANDERSSEN, TIMOTHY E BRUMMUND, DAMON CALDERWOOD, KAYLA DUNBAR, JANET GIGLIOTTI and CHRISTINE QUINTANA round out this exciting cast. From “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” to “The Merry Old Land of Oz”, this classic story continues to inspire and awaken imaginations, just as it has for generations.
