A quarter-mile trail transports visitors to another time and place where stories for all ages have come to life since 1923. The presentation of our spring show coincides with the blooming of the wild rhododendrons that grow along the hillsides and down the trail to the theater. Generations of theatergoers have enjoyed the scenic drive or ferry ride to the theater, and often come early to picnic under the firs before the trail to the theater opens at 1:00 pm. Enjoy our treehouse play structure or hike to Big Tree before or after the show. Article from: Forecasting & Futurism July 2013 – Issue 7 “If I only had a brain” By Dave Snell his often-quoted line from the 1939 movie, The Wizard of Oz, is part of a famous scene where T a Scarecrow (played by Ray Bolger) sings to Doro- thy (the young Judy Garland) about what he would do if he only had a brain. Jeff Heaton has written an easy-to-follow example, “Bayes- ian Networks for Predictive Modeling,” describing how to use simple conditional probability (remember our old pal Bayes, from your introductory actuarial exams?) enhanced by computer programs to infer an outcome from a collection of past events. • The Behind Google Apps
The WIZARDS behind Google Apps ADVICE FOR ADMINS FROM ADMINS Pay no attention to that man – or woman – behind the curtain! Actually, that’s not true. When it comes to those dedicated IT professionals who are “behind the curtain,” you should pay attention. They are, in fact, crucial not only to the IT operation in general, but to the successful management of Google Apps in particular. These are the folks who ensure that Google Apps is properly set up and maintained so that it’s always available for everyone that relies on it. Ignore them at your own peril. We won’t make that mistake. Even better, we’ll make sure you don’t make that mistake. Google Apps is a dynamic collaboration platform that enables people to communicate better and be more productive. But it doesn’t happen by wizardry. It just appears that way. We’ve assembled a panel of experienced IT managers who are responsible for keeping Google Apps running in their organizations. We temporarily stopped them from pulling their levers and punching their buttons so they could share their collective wisdom with you. The goal is to help you with your jobs when you have to step back behind your curtain. We suggest you pay close attention. • Audition Song Sheet If I Only Had a Brain
AUDITION SONG SHEET IF I ONLY HAD A BRAIN SCARECROW: Do?! Why... if I had a brain... I could while away the hours Conferrin' with the flowers, Consulting with the rain; And my head I'd be a scratchin' While my thoughts are busy hatchin' If I only had a brain. I'd unravel ev'ry riddle for my Individ-diddle In trouble or in pain With the thoughts that you'll be thinkin' You could be another Lincoln If you only had a brain. Oh, I, could tell you why The oceans near the shore I could think of things I'd never Thunk before, And then I'd sit down and think some more. I would not be just a muffin', My head all full of stuffin', My heart all full of pain; And perhaps I'd deserve you and be Even worthy’urve ya, If I only had a brain. AUDITION SONG SHEET SOMEWHERE OVER THE RAINBOW DOROTHY: It’s not a place you can get to by boat or train, it’s far, far away, Behind the moon and beyond the rain … Somewhere over the rainbow, way up high There's a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby. Somewhere over the rainbow, skies are blue And the dreams that you dare to dream, Really do come true. Someday I'll wish upon a star And wake up where the clouds are far behind me. Where troubles melt like lemon drops, High above the chimney tops, That's where you'll find me.

Here we are, in Adar And we hope that you make a fuss That’s right – another Purim shpiel So get ready to laugh with us!! Take a load off now and put your mind at ease ‘Cause we hope these jokes will bring you to your knees (Pretending to mean what is being said but hand motions are actually asking for applause) No applause, please!
