The estimated number of non-camp Syrians in Turkey is estimated to be minimum 100,000 people, bringing the total population of Syrians in Turkey falling within the temporary protection regime to be 280,373 people. • During the last 24 hrs. (12-13 Feb) 228 Syrians were admitted from the borders while 684 Syrians returned to voluntarily. Şanlıurfa • AFAD announced the opening and new admissions to two new camps, including a tent site in Adana (Saricam district) and -2 container site in Gaziantep province. With these two new camps, the number of operational camps is 17 Osmaniye Gaziantep camps in 8 provinces. According to local authorities, up to four more sites are under construction. Adana

• Local authorities in Gaziantep had opened a coordination center in Gaziantep where non camp Syrians can approach, Islahıye get registered and are issued an ID Card which will facilitate their access to health and other assistance mechanisms Kilis available in Gaziantep province. A similar center is planned for NIzip town and Sanliurfa province. In Gaziantep province Ceylanpınar the authorities have also prepared a rehabilitation center for longer-term medical treatment following hospitalizations, with a capacity of up to 50 Syrians. • Despite information and prevention campaigns by camp officials, another fire incident occurred in Akcakale camp which unfortunately caused the death of a 7 year old child. The reason of fire is being investigated.
