The Ven: C. T. Woods, Archdeacon of British Columbia, is now on a visit to , having been commissioned by the Bishop of New Westminster to bring before the Church at home the pressing and increasing needs of this very interesting and important Diocese. The Archdeacon will preach at St. Mary's, Hambleden, on Sun Janun,ry 1st next, at the Morning Service, at Frieth in the aftem and at Skirmet in the evening. The Offerings made during the day will be devoted to the spir· needs of the Diocese of New Westminster.

The Christmas Services were heartily c.onducted, and as a_rule well attended throughout the -Parish. As an exception however to t_his we may mention the . On_the third Sun~ay in' .~ach' i;i:i onth' the Holy Communion will be celebrated at 8 a. m., instead of at noon as . heretofore. This is in accordanC'e with the desire of· somt who have ' ' ( found it , difficult to attend ·at the' later h61.lr. Upon the distinct advantage 9f the· earlier hour _much might be said.
