Comparison of confirmed cases by States From 26th May to 23rd June 2020, the number of confirmed cases in Benadir has decreased at 66th percent on 26th May to 50 percent on 23rd June, while Somaliland confirmed cases also increased at 13 percent on 26th May to 24 percent on 23rd June 2020. Since the first COVID-19 confirmed case, males are the highest compared to the females. Male 72% Comparison of Somalia with its Neighboring Countries Figure 5: COVID-19 EVENTS Figure 5 shows that Kenya has reported the Comparison of Somalia with its Neighboring Countries highest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases (4797) followed by Ethiopia (4663) 75 Ethiopia 1297 Djibouti was ranked the third among its 4663 neighboring countries (4599), whereas the least 90 Somalia 829 confirmed COVID-19 cases was reported by 2835 Somalia (2835). 125 Kenya 1680 4797 On the other hand, it has been observed that 48 Somalia and Kenya has the highest number of Djibouti 3952 4599 deaths (90 and 125) respectively, whereas the lowest number of deaths was in Djibouti (48 0 1000 2000 3000 4000 5000 6000 deaths). Overall, Benadir region no significant from third week of June to First week of July (from 22 to 22 cases per week) and, while Somaliland cases Increased the 4th week of June to 1st week of July from 31 cases per week to 57 cases per week.
