From Father George Wenzinger, Pastor CHURCH SCHEDULE AND MASS INTENTIONS Sunday, June 2, 2019 Dear Parishioners, 7:30 am For all parishioners 9:00 am Jerry Ulm As many of you are aware, the Parish 10:30 am John Steeb Leadership Team, The Parish Council, SRS Class of 2015 Alumni Mass and I have been considering changing Sunday morning Mass times on a trial 12:00 pm Frank Persichillo basis. The goal is to give more time for 5:00 pm Lisa Nycz fellowship after Masses, lightening the Monday, June 3, 2019 strain on clergy and liturgical ministers, Saint Charles Lwanga and Companions, Martyrs and alleviating parking lot congestion for parishioners before and after Mass. 6:30 am - 6:45 am Confessions 7:00 am Kenny Golic In the past, we have offered six Masses out of 8:30 am - 8:45 am Confessions necessity when we had over 2500 parishioners 9:15 am Celebrant's intention attending each weekend. It has been over 10 years 9:45 am - 9pm Eucharistic Adoration since we have had Mass attendance at that level. This year's camps will be offered June 3-7, 17-21, and Saint Rose's 2019 Vacation Bible School will take 24-28. Camp activities include options for sports and place from Monday June 10 to Friday June 14 outdoor activities, music and performance, arts and and is for kids from Preschool (age 4) through 4th crafts, and more! In the past several years and in recent months we have received an increase in notifications that fraudulent requests have been sent to Saint Rose parishioners via e-mail to request money or gift cards in some form. Recently, we were made aware that of one of these requests was made via text message by a scammer impersonating Fr. George. We want to make all parishioners aware of these fraudulent requests, and ask that you spread the word to others too. Please note that no priest or Saint Rose representative would ever contact a parishioner personally to ask for items like Gift Cards, cash, or money orders through e-mail, text, or any other messaging system. We request that parishioners use caution regarding these requests whether they come from Fr. George or anyone else you may know. If you have any doubts about the authenticity of any message you've received from a representative of Saint Rose, please call the parish office.
