Brief about the event: Mehendi-It is one of the pre spectrum events, conducted in our college since so many years. The event follows as- no of participants for the event is 2. One is applying and second one is acting as volunteer. There wasn't any theme this time. It was how creatively participants show their skills. Looking at the artist we were surprised in one hour such amazing and wonderful art of mehendi was witnessed.

Brief about the event: Nail art is a creative way to paint, decorate, enhance and embellish the nails. The participants were supposed to design the nails in the most creative way possible. The criteria of judgement, for this event were,

No artificial nails, extensions and references were allowed and the nail art was supposed to be done on one hand only. All materials were supposed to be brought by the participants and the time limit for this event was 1hour.

Wordsworth was one of those events where the participants were given a very long word and they had to make short meaningful words from it. In this, the participants had to choose the correct meaning of the word from the given options. The event comprised of 3 rounds, each alloted a fixed time slot. For each word, the time limit was:First round: 20 seconds, Second round: 30 seconds, Third round: 30 seconds. Each round was more complex than it's preceding round. It was an amazing event where in there were 12 teams of 3 each and each team was fantastic against each other. So the debate was first carried out with a group discussion round where in a topic was given a day prior to the event. From each team there was a representative who expressed their views on the given topic and 6 teams were selected by the judges. The 6 teams then debated against each other one by one and they Debated against each other on the given topic and each debate was a learning for each one of us as we got to know a lot of things which even we were unaware about.

A topic was given to the participants two days prior. A team of 5 had to make a rangoli on the topic given (Nature). The competition was held in the old sport's room. Each individual in a team was given 3 minutes to complete their part. Like that, every individual had to come one by one and complete their part like that in a relay i.e in total 5×3 min. was given to each team. After that, any one individual from one team was given 5 min to add the final details/ to complete the rangoli. The judges were called for evaluation soon after the Participants cleared the area.

Brief about the event :For the one who would trade monotony for rhythm and conversation for songs, we had singing competition in Vescop seminar hall on 11th February. Around 30 soulful singers participated in both solo and duet singing. It was one of the few events judged by a special guest, Mrs. Swapnaja Ingole. The event showed a great response, not only in terms of participation but also from our cheerful audience. At end, all were pleased to listen to a melodious song from our judge, Swapnaja ma'am. She also gave guidance with do's and dont's during singing, to students.

Brief about the event: As part of the “SPECTRUM 2020, Travelling through the Decades”, the Council had organized an event as part of the Cultural Events. To strum some chords or tap out a beat in gentle rage, adding new notes to your bright nights and days. Whatever your choice of tool is, bring it along to our stage, and we will groove together. This is JUGALBANDI, which is an event of a mix of different instruments played in sync with each other. The participants, a pair of two, were supposed to play any instruments of their choice, and their coordination, clarity and creativity was judged by the evaluators. No pre-recorded audios or music was allowed and the participants were to create their own way of music and present it. The time duration was 3 minutes.

Brief about the event: The theme for Spectrum, this year, was TRAVELLING THROUGH THE DECADES and it was applied as the theme for Tshirt painting as well. Class wise decades were assigned in which the First year had 2000s as their decade. Similarly, Second year had 70s as their decade, Third year had 90s as their decade, Final year had 2010s as their decade and Mpharm had 80s as their decade. The contestants were asked to depict their theme by painting on a Plain White Tshirt. The number of participants involved per team was 2 and the participants were asked to get their own material required to design their tshirt. The time duration for this particular event was 1.5 hours.

It was a great event as everyone who participated was eagar to learn something and there was team spirit seen during the event. It basically consisted of 3 rounds where the level of difficulty increased every time and the teams who werent able to draw/guess within the time slot of 1 min would be out from the second and third round. People were supposed to draw the object, word, important event, and were not supposed to act at any point. It was indeed a great experience for everyone.

Third year and final year had the movies Gajni and MR.India respectively. They had a time slot of 5 minutes to enact their play. The participants were told to email their photographs with their code numbers, which was assigned to them.

Round 3-Pen and paper once again in lesser time. Results were declared based on the Cumulative scoring of each team.The event was conducted smoothly. And the participants really enjoyed answering the questions.

Brief about the event:Concoction was the event conducted on 15th February in VescoP seminar hall. It was full of singing, dancing and various instrumentals. There were three years, SY, TY and LY participating in the event. The event was appreciated by our judges. It was full of fun and was appreciated well by the audience. The ideas brought up by different classes was liked by the audience.

Brief about the event : Hogathon is a food based event. Students have to compete with each other for eating food as fast as they can and in a sequence stated by the Event Head. There were 2 rounds and the student who was first in Round 1 will proceed to the final round.
First Round : The students had to drink water and eat pizza.
Second Round : The students were asked to eat Samosa and biscuit without drinking water in between.

Event : Class decorations

Brief about the event : The students were asked to decorate their classes based on the theme. Each class was given a decade and they can incorporate any decorations that would signify their decade. All the classes put in efforts together, showed unity among themselves and decorated their class. The evaluators to evaluate and also includes narration from the student of respective class.
