Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan in SRCC 2014 The Times of India 01 March 2014 Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balan in SRCC 2014 Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar at SRCC Despite the lack of banners and online promotions, news about Shaadi Ke Side Effects stars Farhan Akhtar and Vidya Balanattending SRCC's drama festival Histrionica spread in North Campus, leading to a packed crowd in the college. Owing to recent incidents of stampedes and poor management in other colleges, organizers here had the Delhi police's support. Barricades kept the crowd away from the stage and officers posted at the entry gates ensured the event remained an SRCC-only affair. Vidya, overwhelmed by the cheering, said, "I wish I was on the other side of this stage because this energy is so infectious." Farhan got the crowd to scream even louder by saying, "Come on SRCC, you can do better than this!" Their fans requested specific dialogues and songs from the duo. Chants of Ooh La La would start whenever Vidya took the mic, while the boys in the audience screamed for the onscreen Milkha Singh. Vidya jokingly said, "I am Silk and he is Milk. Itna bhaag Milkha matt bolo, warna yeh sach mein bhaag jaayega." Vidya showed off her Silk Smitha charm by repeating her famous 'entertainment' dialogue from The Dirty Picture, while Farhan narrated one of the poems from Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. … Towards the end, both the actors got off the stage and went ahead to meet the crowd right at the end of the barricades, which gave the bouncers a scare and the excited students more reasons to cheer. .

A. in Indian Studies, University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran ([email protected]) (Received: Jan. 2, 2019 Revised: Feb. 28, 2019 Accepted: Ma r. 28, 2019) Abstract This study investigates the representations of Hindu-Muslim relationship in Bollywood movies from 2008 to 2018. It is assumed that after 2008 Mumbai terrorist attacks, which are known as 26/11, conflicts between Hindus and Muslims have escalated. Since Indian people are extreme fans of movies, especially Bollywood movies, in this regard, it is expected that media could play a significant role in increasing or alleviating the conflicts by influencing people’s attitudes and opinions. This research seeks to examine the extent and modality of the representation of Hindu-Muslim relationships in Bollywood after the 2008 Mumbai attacks. The study was conducted through a content analysis of 11 Bollywood movies, which were selected from 70 Muslim-characters-based movies. Favorable, unfavorable, neutral and unclear were the four factors through which the movies’ contents were analyzed. The overall analysis of these factors indicate that 66.17% of the scenes were favorable, 14.70% were unfavorable, 2.94% were neutral, and 16.17% presented unclear images of Hindu-Muslim relationship in Bollywood movies.

Film tourism in India – a beginning towards unlocking its potential FICCI Shoot at Site 2019 13 March 2019 Film tourism is a growing phenomenon worldwide, fueled by both the growth of the entertainment industry and the increase in international travel. Film tourism sector has seen tremendous growth in the past few years. It represents a gateway to new and more intense ways of experiencing destinations. At the same time, it creates the potential for new communities by way of an exchange of insights, knowledge and experience among the tourists themselves. Films play a significant role in the promotion of tourism in various countries and different states of India. A film tourist is attracted by the first-hand experience of the location captured on the silver screen. Not only is film tourism an excellent vehicle for destination marketing, it also presents new product development opportunities, such as location tours, film museums, exhibitions and the theme of existing tourist attractions with a film connection. This report focusses on the concept of film tourism and the various initiatives taken by both the state and central government of India for boosting film induced tourism through their respective film production policies. Dilip Chenoy Secretary General - Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foreword The significance of cinema in today’s times has gone beyond its intended purpose of mass entertainment. Cinema is a portal for people to escape from reality and into their world of fantasy. Cinema is a source of inspiration for some, a source of entertainment for some and a source of education for some.

  • DEFINATION the Capacity and Willingness to Develop, Organize
DEFINATION The capacity and willingness to develop, organize and manage a business venture along with any of its risks in order to make a profit. The most obvious example of entrepreneurship is the starting of new businesses. In economics, entrepreneurship combined with land, labor, natural resources and capital can produce profit. Entrepreneurial spirit is characterized by innovation and risk-taking, and is an essential part of a nation's ability to succeed in an ever changing and increasingly competitive global marketplace. Differences Between Women and Men Entrepreneurs When men and women start companies, do they approach the process the same way? Are there key differences? And how do those differences affect the success of the business venture? As a woman in the start-up community, I am frequently asked about women entrepreneurs. A popular question is: How are they different from men? There have been many studies of entrepreneurs and start-ups, and I’ve read a number of them. Many of them seem to me to fall short, because the researchers, not being entrepreneurs themselves, lack an in-depth understanding of the entrepreneurial mind. The result is often a lot of statistics that fail to enlighten readers about entrepreneurial behavior and motivation. So what follows are my personal opinions. They are not based on formal research, but on my own observations and interactions with other women entrepreneurs. 1. Women tend to be natural multitaskers, which can be a great advantage in start-ups. While founders typically have one core skill, they also need to be involved in many different aspects of their business.
