Aeromexico Now Connecting City with Silicon Valley

-- SJC’s Newest International Carrier Launches Summer Season Service to Mexico’s Capital, Joining Daily Nonstops to Guadalajara --

San Jose, Calif. – Aeromexico, Mexico’s global , today launched new nonstop service between Mineta San José International Airport (SJC) and . The summer season flight operates daily from June 1 to Aug. 31, 2018.

“We are pleased to see Aeromexico, our newest international airline partner, already expanding in Silicon Valley with important nonstop service to Mexico City as we begin our peak summer travel season,” said Director of Aviation John Aitken. “Our community has responded favorably to the carrier’s nonstop service to Guadalajara which began last summer, and we expect the same warm welcome for Aeromexico’s additional and in-demand service to Mexico’s capital city.”

Aeromexico operates Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a capacity of 160 seats on this route. The service between Silicon Valley and Mexico City is increasing connectivity in both regions and encourages tourism between the two countries. The U.S. contributes about two-thirds of all inbound arrivals, making it Mexico’s prime international market.
