KLM and Delta Air Lines launch COVID-tested travel
As of 15 December, KLM and transatlantic partner Delta Air Lines introduce a COVID-19 free travel corridor from Atlanta to Amsterdam. A unique first step towards the international travel industry’s recovery.
Your customers can travel on COVID-19 tested KLM and Delta Air Lines flights from Atlanta to Amsterdam 4 times per week, for 3 weeks. Pre-departure self-isolation and negative test results before and after flying exempt them from 10-day quarantine in the Netherlands. Delta Air Lines also offers COVID-19 tested travel between Atlanta and Rome. Also Air France plans to introduce the route Atlanta to Paris-CDG. If successful, the airlines hope to extend the program to other markets. COVID-19 tested flights can be booked for essential travel only. Customers who are transiting via Amsterdam will still be obliged to follow entry requirements and any mandatory quarantine in place at their final
destination.
