Valtechnieken 1.1 Mae ukemi Bepaling: voorwaartse (mae) val (ukemi) - basisuitvoering Mae ukemi - basisuitvoering Basisuitvoering: Vertrek vanuit rechtstaande houding met de voeten naast elkaar op schouderbreedte Breng je armen gebogen voor je (handen ter hoogte van het aangezicht) Laat je voorover vallen met een licht gebogen lichaam tot steun op beide voorarmen en de bal van beide voeten Aandachtspunten: De onderarmen en handen volledig gebruiken om de val op te vangen (niet de ellebogen) Het lichaam bijna volledig gestrekt houden (lichte buiging) In de eindhouding steun je op de voorarmen en de bal van beide voeten De armen onderarmen mogen evenwijdig met het lichaam liggen of in driehoeksvorm De buik mag de mat niet raken 4 Vlaamse Ju Jitsu Federatie vzw november 2015 Bepaling: voorwaartse (mae) val (ukemi) - variant Mae ukemi – variant Basisuitvoering: Vertrek vanuit rechtstaande houding met de voeten naast elkaar op schouderbreedte Breng je armen licht gebogen voor je (handen op schouderbreedte) Laat je voorover vallen met een licht gebogen lichaam tot steun op beide handen en de bal van beide voeten Het plooien van de armen vangt de val op Aandachtspunten: De onderarmen en handen volledig gebruiken om de val op te vangen Het lichaam volledig of bijna volledig gestrekt houden (lichte buiging) De armen zijn licht gebogen bij het eerste contact met de grond In de eindhouding steun je op de handen en de bal van beide voeten De buik mag de mat niet raken Opmerking: Op de toelatingsproef mag er gekozen worden tussen beide varianten Ook de versie judo-uitvoering Yoko ukemi – judo-uitvoering Basisuitvoering: Breng je rechterarm horizontaal voor je lichaam naar links Plaats je rechterbeen schuin zijwaarts voor je lichaam Zak door je linkerbeen Val op je rechterzij De rechterarm wordt gebruikt om de val te breken (afslaan) in een hoek van 30° à 45° Aandachtspunten: Op je zijkant rollen en niet op de rug Val breken (afslaan) met een gestrekte Depending on the number of competitors participating in a division, it is possible that a single loss could eliminate a competitor’s opportunity to compete further in their division. Bracketing When bracketing, it sometimes becomes necessary to collapse divisions. When doing so, the safety and fairness of the competitors is paramount. The general rule of thumb when collapsing is one of the following: • Mix genders (4-11 years old only) • Move up in Age (no more than 2 years) • Move up in Weight (10 lbs / 4.5 kg or less) • Move up in Rank (only 1 rank, 4-15 years old only) Aside from collapsing the genders, it is uncommon to do more than one of the two options listed above. There are exceptions to this rule. Example: 9-year-old boy that weighs 64 lbs can be moved to the 10-11 year-old division against a 10-year-old girl that weighs 67 lbs.
