The Mahidol Oxford Tropical Medicine Research Unit (MORU) was established in 1979 as a research collaboration into malaria and other tropical diseases between Mahidol University, Oxford University and the UK’s Wellcome Trust.
The Mahidol – Liverpool PhD Scholarship The Scholarship was established in 2010 in honor of Prof. Dr. Stang Mongkolsuk and Prof. Emer. Chamlong Harinasuta. Both received their doctorate degrees at the University of Liverpool.
