Activity News ICT Mahidol Dean participated in a Clubhouse discussion room, under the topic "Technology and Education in Thailand " held by Thai IoT Association On 4 August 2021 – Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, Dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, Mahidol University (ICT Mahidol), participated in a Clubhouse discussion room, under the topic "Technology and Education in Thailand " held by Thai IoT Association. The Clubhouse discussion room was joined by many professional guest speakers including Associate Professor Somyot Kaitwanidvilai, Dean of School of Engineering, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Senior Advisor of Thai IoT Association, Assoc. Prof. Udomkiat Nontakaew, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok, Dr. Monsak Socharoentum, Director of IoT and Digital Innovation Institute at Digital Economy Promotion Agency, Assoc. Prof. Narongdech Keeratipranon, Head of Department of Robotics and Automation Engineering, Dhurakij Pundit University and Director of iMake, as well as Mr. Khemarat Chokmangmee, Vice President of Thai IoT Association and Head of Digital Innovation and Technology Center, PTT Digital Solutions Company. Also, Mr. Sura Gainthanasilp, Senior Council Committee, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and Senate Committee on Information and Technology, and Dr. Rassamiman Kieawsrikul, Freelance Media, served as moderators of the session. During the session, Dr. Pattanasak Mongkolwat, conveyed “Currently, ICT knowledge has rapidly changed. It is very crucial that both education and students must adjust their teaching and learning styles. The Faculty of ICT, Mahidol University, focuses on building, upskilling and reskilling 4 mains skills of students: Self-motivation skills, Searching skills, Practical skills, Innovative skills.
