Compact Deep Aggregation for Set Retrieval Yujie Zhong · Relja Arandjelovic´ · Andrew Zisserman Abstract The objective of this work is to learn a compact such as a group of friends or a family. Then we would like the embedding of a set of descriptors that is suitable for efficient retrieved images that contain all of the set to be ranked first, retrieval and ranking, whilst maintaining discriminability of followed by images containing subsets, e.g. if there are three the individual descriptors. We focus on a specific example of friends in the query, then first would be images containing this general problem – that of retrieving images containing all three friends, then images containing two of the three, multiple faces from a large scale dataset of images. Here the followed by images containing only one of them. • Facilitator Fact Sheet
The Body Project: Facilitator Fact Sheet 1. Fashion Magazines (According to former fashion magazine editor; International Conference on Eating Disorders) Function of a fashion magazine: To convince women that something is wrong with them (e.g., hair, body, sex life, etc.) so that they can sell their product (i.e., the content of the magazine) to fix it. The more anxious they make you, the more likely you will buy the magazine and the larger their readership, which increases advertising sales. How they convince you something is wrong o Lead articles: Pulitzer Prize winning article on eating disorders or cancer not going to win author a big bonus. However, writing an article which produces the following title will: “You never knew what your butt looked like from the rear! Strategies for a better behind.” o Idealized images: Digital enhancement, make-up, clothes pinning etc. At this editor’s magazine, many of the key staff had eating disorders due to a culture of disordered eating and weight/shape attitudes. o Couldn’t bring food onto the floor, because it was too upsetting for some staff o One woman brought scale to work and moved scale around bathroom floor until she got an acceptable weight. 2. Advertising Strategies A. Physical Tactics Bras are stuffed with pads to fill out the front of a dress that is too loose. Padded underwear is also used to fill out the back of a dress. Duct-tape is often used to tape breasts together to create cleavage. Girdles are used to squeeze the flesh of models into a dress sample size that is too small.

  • Media Kit Culture of Fashion
media kit culture of fashion Bringing the fashion bible to the Czech and Slovak markets is both a dream come true and a challenge. When we started putting the first issue together back in spring 2018, we asked ourselves a several questions: Is writing about freedom Vogue enough? Is Olga Havlová Vogue enough? Is putting a second-hand coat on the first cover, in the times of excess and overproduction of luxury goods a strong enough fashion statement? On the other hand, what is and what is not Vogue? VOGUE is not just a magazine about fashion and lipsticks what people often think. Vogue is not a trendsetter. Vogue is a social indicator of style, trends and art movements. Vogue is a trend-maker. Vogue reflects current movements and puts fashion into their context. We believe that the Czech and Slovak Republics deserve their own. We do not want to copy or imitate anyone. We wanted to follow up on the tradition of photography and typography of the thirties, looking for our own aesthetics compatible not only with our history, but also with what is going on in contemporary fashion and culture. That is why Vogue CS is different. It is ours. Czechoslovak. And thus universal. Andrea Běhounková Editor-in-chief historyhistorie Vogue was founded in 1892 by Arthur Baldwin Turnure as a high-society journal. Condé Montrose Nast, the founder of Condé Nast Publications, bought Vogue in 1909 and transformed it into a women’s fashion magazine. It soon became known for its distinctive photographs and high editorial quality.
