One of the public initiatives that most promoted the development of tourism was the Leader Method, implemented in 1991 by the European Union, which is still active 25 years later. Within this initiative, the financing of tourist infrastructures adapted to the different rural areas was promoted. However, after 25 years, the economic sustainability has been very different and internal and external factors have determined their success. Therefore, it is necessary to analyze the survival of the tourism offer financed by Leader in order to identify the factors that have determined its success in one of the European regions that has been managing Leader since 1991: Extremadura. For this purpose, a methodology based on a multivariate technique (Cluster Analysis) has been designed, which has allowed to establish a pattern of behavior based on context variables.     PLAN DE GESTION DE LA ZEPA-LIC “DEHESAS DE JEREZ” 1. Ámbito de aplicación del Plan de gestión El ámbito de aplicación del Plan de Gestión será el lugar ZEPA-ZEC Dehesas de Jerez. 2. Caracterización del lugar/es Natura 2000 Extensa masa de dehesas situadas en el suroeste de la provincia de Badajoz, en las estribaciones de Sierra Morena prolongándose hasta el río Guadiana que hace frontera con Portugal.     Cómo llegar al Hotel Alardos de San Juan Dirección: Camino AV-P-716, de Madrigal de La Vera-El Raso, 05489 - El Raso, Candeleda (Ávila) Coordenadas GPS: 40.158080, -5.360477 En coche desde Madrid: 1. Coge la A-5 / E90 dirección Badajoz. 2. Toma la salida 148, Oropesa/Lagartera/Madrigal de la Vera y Candeleda. 3. Llegas a una rotonda, coges la salida tercera, dirección Madrigal de la Vera, CM-5102. 4. Cerca de Madrigal, al cruzar un puente, verás que cambias de comunidad y por eso la carretera cambia a EX384. 5. En Madrigal, llegas a un cruce: en frente verás un café bar “De rondas”; giras a la derecha dirección Candeleda EX-203. Pasas una avenida de palmeras; a la izquierda dejas el camping “Alardos”; cruza la garganta de “Alardos”; en seguida verás que cambias de comunidad a Castilla León; coge el primer desvío a la izquierda hacia “El Raso”. 6. Sigue la carretera 350 m aproximadamente y a la izquierda verás la entrada del “Hotel Alardos de San Juan” 7. Sigue esa pista de cemento, pasas un pinar y cuando se bifurque el camino coge el de la izquierda. 8. Al final de esa pista ¡has llegado al hotel! *Si vienes desde Arenas de San Pedro CL-501, tienes que coger a la derecha, la segunda salida de “El Raso” En coche desde Sevilla: 1. Vienes por la A-66 / E803. 2. En Mérida cambia de carretera y toma la A-5 / E90 (Autovía de Extremadura) dirección Madrid. 3. Toma la salida 148, Oropesa/Lagartera/Madrigal de la Vera y Candeleda.

XXX (2010) / 291-295 ESTENA, UN PALACIO DEL DUQUE DE BÉJAR EN LA SIBERIA EXTREMEÑA José MALDONADO ESCRIBANO Resumen En la dehesa de Estena (Helechosa de los Montes, Badajoz) y a orillas del río del mismo nombre mandó construir el Duque de Béjar un palacio rural para disfrutar de ciertas temporadas de descanso así como para que sirviera como centro de administración de la explotación agrope- cuaria que desde él se controlaba. Forma parte este inmueble de un conjunto de granjas y casas de campo que dicho título nobiliario, más tarde emparentado con el Ducado de Osuna, poseyó en La Siberia extremeña, junto a otros como la Casa de la Golosilla (Herrera del Duque) o el Palacio de Buengrado (Puebla de Alcocer), ambos igualmente levantados en la Edad Moderna.
