engineering As part of the East Link extension, Sound Transit will do something that’s never been done before—run light rail trains across a oating ridge To do this, engineers and designers had to consider a number of factors, including six ranges of motion as trains trael onto the oating portion of the ridge eres ho e stepped up to the challenge What did we do?
