NATIONAL AWARDS 1. BHARAT RATNA→It is the highest civilian award of India. INDIRA GANDHI PEACE PRIZE - • Field - Peace • Another name Indira Gandhi for peace, Disarmament and development is the prestigious award accorded by India government to individual or organization in recognition of creative efforts toward promoting international peace, development and a new international economic order, ensuring human development.

JNANPITH AWARD • Field - Literature • Highest literary honour conferred in the republic of India. • Presented by the Jnanpith trust, which was founded by the Sahv Jain family, publishers of Times of India. • Any schedule language of India. • Eminent Hindi Litterateur Krishna Sobti (92) was awarded the 53rd Jnanpith Award for the year 2017

Birla Foundation • Literary work in any Indian language listed in schedule VIII of the constitution of India. • Gujarati poet, playwright and academic Sitanshu Yashaschandra was selected for 2017 Saraswati Samman for his collection of verses (poetry) titled “Vakhar” published in 2009.
