University of Washington Stereotypes, Identity, & Belonging Lab 2017-2019 Research Assistant • Took a leading role on 3 unique research projects resulting in a publication, a manuscript in preparation, and a poster at SPSP • Assisted with general research assistant duties including running participants; entering, checking, and coding data; editing papers; conducting literature reviews; designing surveys; and writing posts for the lab blog.

Peer Academic Coach Training Program Curriculum Designer Spring 2019 • Worked one-on-one with head of peer coaching program to develop new comprehensive curriculum for training all peer academic coaches • Created detailed plans for 7 professional development workshops • Curated and synthesized research-based resources from a wide variety of sources • Specified workshop, quarter, and year-long learning objectives to act as guiding benchmarks for training program

Peer Academic Coach 2016-2019 • Mentored 9 students (2-3 per quarter) through weekly meetings to enhance organization and study skills, goal-setting, time management, and work-life balance • Completed weekly reports on each student’s progress • Participated in regular professional development training in motivational interviewing, mentoring, study skills and best methods of learning, etc. • Selected to spearhead a special project standardizing and enhancing training program for all peer coaches

Diversity & wellness outreach

Engage Executive Board, Northwestern Athletics Department 2017-2018, 2018-2019 • Assisted in developing and facilitating 2-3 diversity & inclusion-themed workshops per quarter, often based on current events of interest to the athletic community • Helped to bridge the gap between research and social justice education by incorporating relevant psychology literature into the workshop planning and execution • Worked to increase awareness and attendance at workshops in the athletic community, including at department-wide staff meetings and in groups of student-athlete leaders • Advocated for installation of inclusion statement plaques in every varsity locker room at Northwestern
