Moscow metro, one of the best transport systems of the world is the appropriate combination of these factors. In 2007 we accomplished good results. Within several months at the beginning of the year we opened four new stations for the public use. And in August we opened one more, Trubnaya station which at once became one of the most frequently used interchange stations. In December we opened Sretensky Bulvar station and before the New Year the fi rst train ran from the new Kuntsevskaya station on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line to the long awaited Strogino station. At present the route length of Moscow metro is about three hundred kms and the number of stations is nearly two hundred. We expect to continue our development at a good pace. Due to fi nancial and administrative support of the Government of Moscow in the new century metro construction has been progressing fast and with good quality results. We have done much to upgrade our rolling stock and other technical devices. During the passed year our depots received several batches of new cars to replace the out-of-date stock. At the same time we refurbished the previous generations stock to fi t the up-to-date standards. And we certaily have been doing our routine every day work due to which our system has been functioning for 73 years. Looking forward I would like to express my gratitude to our metro staff because without them one of the best systems of the world would have been inanimate. Owing to their devotion and skills our system is the most beautiful, reliable and fast. There is very much work ahead and I am sure we shall cope with it together. Head of Moscow metro D. Gaev 5 chapter 2 2007 was a remarkable year for Moscow metro ! The ceremony of an offi cial opening took place on August 30, on the eve of the Moscow city day in the presence of Yury Luzhkov, Mayor of Moscow, followed by almost a hundred journalists. After the offi cial ceremony thousands of customers came down to have a look at the new beautiful underground palace. It was supposed that the new interchange station would unload the crowded circle line stations on Liublinsko-Dmitrovskaya and Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya lines. And it really did. At once it substantially unloaded the Circle line interchange stations. Besides it shortened travel time of those using Liublinsko-Dmitrovskaya and Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya lines. 10 11 Opening of Strogino station Events of the year Events of the year chapter Simultaneously with the previously mentioned stations chapter construction works were being performed at Strogino 2 station on Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya line. It was on December 29. The train passed Molodezhnaya and via a new tunnel connecting Krylatskoye and the new Strogino station came up to the platform. This project, on the other hand, seeks to establish an alternative understanding of the ways in which nationality has played out both as a Russian tactic to unite disparate and diverse territories, and as a mode by which some ethnic minorities in Russian-ruled spaces have been able to secure relative autonomy. The Republic of Tatarstan, located in the Volga River basin, has achieved unprecedented levels of autonomy while existing as a contingent part of the USSR, and now the Russian Federation. Comparisons have been drawn between Tatarstan and Chechnya in regards to the political, economic, and cultural autonomy they exercise on their respective territories; however, while their autonomy may be comparable, their respective relationships with the Russian central governments are not.

But as my friends have been here already and they loved their stay in Moscow I thought to give it a try. Entering Moscow as an International student came up with a rollercoaster of new learnings and experiences. The administration has been really supportive since day 1 from providing conveyance from airport to prompt email responses for any sort of queries! But I would like to request that incase of class cancellation or changes the administration should update us because for more than 5 times we have been waiting for the teacher outside our classroom and then we get to know after 15-20 minutes that our class has been cancelled. But I know that this issue can be and will be resolved by the administration. Well, being an international student in IBS-Moscow felt like being in my home, yes! This is how comfortable it is to be here. And the metro system here is a life saver! As far as studies are concerned, they are very smooth and more of based on practical demonstrations rather than only theory. I thought that maybe studies here would be tougher than my own university but no, it’s not the case.

The aim of the study is to determine the social, economic and technological effects of the use of digital technologies on transport on the example of the metro, as well as to find solutions to digitalization problems in modern conditions of limited resources. The authors examined the impact of the key technologies of Industry 4.0 on the business processes of the world's subways. A comparative analysis of the world's metros digital transformations has been carried out, a tree of world's metros digitalization problems has been built, a reference model for the implementation of world's metros digital transformation is proposed. As the results of the study, the authors were able to determine the social, economic and technological effects of metro digitalization. Keywords: Industry 4.0 technologies, digital transformation, transport, metro Introduction The coming era of the digital economy requires a revision of business models, methods of production in all spheres of human life in order to maintain competitive advantages in the world arena. The transport industry is no exception, as it plays an important role in the development of the country's economy and social sphere. This year we have introduced a new section “Novogireevo” – “Novokosino” on the Kalininskaya line”, that allows now quick, convenient and reliable mode of transport to be provided to almost 200,000 inhabitants of the district. Besides, the metro map shows the long-awaited station ”Alma-Atinskaya” on the Zamoskvoretskaya line and the station “Pyatnitskoye shosse” in the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Foreword from the head line. The future of Moscow transport system is unthinkable without development of the metro, which plays a key role in the city’s public transport of Moscow Metro system. The Moscow Metro management carries out all the changes planned and appointed by the Moscow Government by paying as much attention to the demand of Muscovites and guests of the capital as possible. By 2020, 67 new stations are planned to be constructed. At present, we prioritize the construction of the Exterior interchange circuit line with the phased commissioning of line sections, the extension of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line from station “Maryina roshcha” to the northern areas of the city by 2015.
