Honda/ Automotive Technology Associate in Science

Why choose Honda/Acura Automotive Technology? The Honda/Acura Automotive Technology program, otherwise known as PACT (Professional Automotive Career Training) is a partnership among Nashua Community College, American Honda Motor Company Inc., and regional Honda/Acura Dealers.

The program is designed to train students for employment in Honda/Acura dealerships and prepare them for ASE Master certification. Students receive training through a combination of classroom theory, hands-on lab work, general education components, and an internship with a local dealership.

Technical instruction is conducted in a professionally equipped, modern facility and American Honda supplies the program with vehicles, special tools, and access to technical data.

Upon graduation, students have received a large percentage of the required training needed to become a Honda/Acura Master Technician and will also be prepared to acheive ASE Master certification.

*A student must earn a ‘C’ or better in order to progress in this program.**Seven Internship credit hours total must be earned in order to graduate. All Honda/Acura certifications will be awarded to students upon successful completion of the entire program. All Honda and General education courses must be completed with a CGPA of 2.0 or higher. To qualify for a Honda dealership placement, a student must successfully complete all program coursework leading up to each of the internship courses. A 2.0 GPA is required for Internship placement.Note: A basic automotive tool kit and roll cabinet are required. Students must present a relatively clean driving record for acceptance into the program
