DEPARTMENT: Infrastructure & Strategic Housing

Purpose

To assist the Infrastructure & Strategy Manager to deliver the priorities as set out in the Corporate Plan.

Principal Accountabilities

1. To provide administrative support to the Infrastructure & Strategy Manager for the Council’s Corporate Priorities, including:

 Providing monthly update reports for the Corporate Management Team and Elected Members  Undertaking research to support the delivery of the Corporate Priorities  Liaising with Service Managers to ensure that all Corporate Priorities are on track

2. To work with the Infrastructure & Strategy Manager to produce an action plan for the delivery and implementation of the Corporate Priorities

3. To assist the Infrastructure & Strategy Manager and Business Programme Manager to obtain funding from the to deliver projects arising from the Ely, and Masterplans.

4. Provide assistance, where appropriate, to assist Service Managers to deliver the Climate Change Action Plan.

5. Maintain an up-to-date pipeline of deliverable housing sites to assist the Council in its reporting requirements for Affordable Housing and Five Year Land supply, including meeting with the Combined Authority Housing Team to ensure their data is up-to-date for East Cambridgeshire.

6. To participate in training and exercises in support of the Council’s preparation for responding to civil emergencies within the District.

7. Any other duties of a reasonable nature as directed by Infrastructure & Strategy Manager.
