Islip lies a few miles to the north of Oxford and just south of the A34.

From Oxford take the Banbury Road heading north. Cross the ring road and continue north to the Kidlington (Sainsbury's) Roundabout. Turn right onto the Bicester Road. Follow this through traffic lights and then take the right fork towards Islip at the next roundabout. Follow this road (crossing the A34 slip road) for about 1½ miles to Islip. The beginning of the village is marked by a road narrowing/speed bump and 30mph speed limit. Continue another 500 yards and turn first right into Church Close/Lane. The Village Hall and car park (~25 cars) are 50 yards down on the right. There is also parking for a few cars in Church Lane itself and the High Street opposite the Village Hall. There is plenty more parking around the corner at the village surgery (see map below).

Coming along the A34 (either from the South or junction 9 of the M40) take the Islip exit and follow the B4027 into the village. Coming this way it might be best to park in the surgery car park which is the second turning to the right after passing the village limit sign. From there it's just a short 200-yard walk to the Village Hall: come out of the car park turning right onto the main road, turn right at the war memorial, then immediately left into Church Close/Lane. The Village Hall is 50 yards down on the right.
