After their hugely enjoyable and successful production of ‘ALADDIN’ Pantoloons return to Braintree Arts Theatre with a new, fun stuffed and imaginative show. ‘PUSS IN BOOTS’ is packed with their well-loved blend of Excitement, Laughs, Songs, Dance and Audience Participation. Fun for all ages is guaranteed whether it’s at one of the five matinees or three evening shows.

Based on a traditional story of a penniless Miller’s Son who inherits a Magical Talking Cat and sets off on a Wonderful Adventure, the tale is given a modern twist and lots of surprises. There is something for everyone in this Unique Production so be prepared to ‘BOO’ the Baddie, ‘CHEER’ the Hero, ‘AAAAH’ at the Love Scenes and shout, ‘ALLO VERA’ to the Mad, Lovable Dame. With its warm and inviting environment, Café 6 is the perfect meeting point for a relaxed pre-show drink, cup of tea or cup of coffee and a cake. Our fully stocked bar offers a variety of wines, spirits, largers, ciders and local real ales.

The café bar is open 45 minutes before the start of the performance and during the interval.

Venue Hire

Our modern venue can hold up to 300 people in the main auditorium which has full projection and AV facilities. We also have several smaller seminar rooms each housing their own dedicated media facilities.

Situated on the outskirts of Braintree, Braintree Arts Theatre has free parking for 250 vehicles, with six dedicated disabled parking bays. Wheelchair access is provided throughout the building. We are proud to offer all visiting companies and hirers free WI-FI.
